Very sad to see this office being so mismanaged and by such impolite, unprofessional front staff. I have been a patient here for 17+ years and when Dr Kent and her ob/gyn office was just down the hall, this place was MUCH better. Marty is the ONLY reason I keep coming back here! She is thorough, friendly, empathetic, warm, and absolutely a DREAM! Mammograms and ultrasounds are always a bit uncomfortable and give some expected anxiety, and when you walk into a cold and rude environment of these young girls, it elevates the nervousness and frustration. The front office needs some etiquette training on how to speak with patients. The whispering behind the glass and telling me my PPO insurance company's site is down, so they can't authorize my insurance, and that I need to fill out an acknowledgment of this (probably so they can charge me more), is ridiculous. Shockingly, the website was back up and running when I said I wouldn't sign their form. If this were the first time I was frustrated by the front office, I'd let it go... but this is easily the third or fourth time this has been the case. Dr. Pusey has always been thorough and professional al to me and I've always appreciated her reading my images right away.

I found Dr. Pusey to be extremely thorough - she or her staff explained all of the procedures, answered fully any questions I had, and also explained any charges that I would be encountering. I had a great experience with Marti and with Dr. Pusey. I have some serious issues and I felt that my concerns were addressed fully and properly. I was amazed however at how demanding some of the other patients were - they'd have been told to go home by my former radiologists, but maybe that is the Newport Beach crowd. Anyway, I had a great experience. My results were ready when promised 2 days after my appointment. I cannot say enough about my positive experience here. I highly recommend this team of medical professionals.

Dr. Pusey and her staff were professional and compassionate. I was referred to Dr. Pusey by Dr. Shelly Coe for an emergency breast issue after the mammogram facility I used for 15+ years couldn’t fit me into their schedule until 4 days later. Dr. Pusey saw me that very same day for imaging and the following day for a needle biopsy. Dr. Pusey and her staff stayed late (hours after closing time) to accommodate my needs. She obtained the biopsy results in less than 48 hours and contacted me immediately by phone. Dr. Pusey and her techs were thorough in their testing and exams and her staff was helpful and responsive. Dr. Pusey had two lengthy consultations with my husband and me. She took her time to explain matters in detail, patiently answering all of our questions. I noticed some negative reviews regarding wait time. Based upon my experience – one test indicates the need for more, etc. – delays happen because Dr. Pusey is thorough. Absolutely brilliant and a specialist in women's imaging. Also, expert in ultrasound if you are concerned about radiation exposure.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life with Dr Pusey. I just moved here from NYC where I had been going to Dr Schaffer of Schaffer Schonholz for years. I went to Dr Pusey for my routine exam. She never spoke to me. Quick exam and told me everything was fine. I received a phone call the next day from my doctor in New York telling me that Dr Pusey had sent him an ovarian cancer diagnosis. Dr Schaffer told me to fly back the following day. Both he and Dr Schonholz. Scanned me and re examined me over and over. No ovarian cancer. I would have been in surgery for no reason. Thank you to my amazing Dr Schaffer in NYC for caring and taking such good care of his patients. I don't want another woman to go through what I went through.

Wish I had read these reviews before I scheduled my ultrasounds. I've been going here for years and I guess things are different now. My doctor ordered an ultrasound and I scheduled it a week and a half ahead of time. The office called me the night before and told me they would not do the ultrasound unless I had a mammogram. I explained that my doctor wanted the ultrasound first. They refused to do it. Personally, I don't believe they have the right to do this, and to wait until the night before to tell me, is less than professional. Does someone, who is not my doctor have the right to tell me what I must purchase from them?
