List of Farzana Naqvi,Md's Reviews
Dr Naqvi sat with me for nearly an hour. She was thoughtful and approached my issues to try and solve the problem. She was empathic, kind and listened. I am shocked by the bad reviews, I had a really positive and promising experience.
Attitude Arrogant attitude. Doesn't listen. Talks down to you.
She is On the Ball! Highly recommended I’ve gone only about 3 times to Dr. Naqvi only three times but feel she has, by far, the most impressive endocrinologist I’ve seen. She’s sharp and I plan on staying with her!
Dr. Naqvi has been very helpful and informative in helping treat my hyperthyroidism. The staff is wonderful as well.
Dr. Naqvi has been extremely helpful in treating my Mother's hyperthyroidism. She's also been very proactive in communicating directly with my Mother's PCP. I don't know why the staff review on here is so terrible but I personally haven't dealt with any issues. The staff is always friendly and professional with us.
I was seeing Dr. Naqvi in CA for almost a year and suddenly moved to NYC. I asked Naqvi's office for a 30 day extension on my medication to hold me over until I saw the earliest available NYC Endocrinologist. Her office refused to set up a video conference, even though she used to do those, and would only issue me a 15 day extension- which is two weeks short of what I need for this daily medication. (There are tremendous side effects when going off this med; such as, hair loss, fatigue, bloating, etc.) When I continued to ask for an exception due to my relocation, the office receptionist hung up the phone on me and would not answer my call when I called back. This is NOT a doctor's office that cares about the patient wellbeing or making sure they are taken care of- no matter where they live. I was willing to get bloodwork done here and do whatever I needed to, to extend my medication. I could not believe that they hung up and refused to answer me when I called back.

Attitude Talk down to you. Don’t let you talk and drag you you there every 10 days without lab result. Money hungry and she is as rude as her staff. I did switch.
Good luck getting past the angry lady who runs the front desk. You’ll know within about 30 seconds she hates her job. I was attempting to setup an appointment and figure out what files/images this doctor will need and after my third question, she hung up on me. Like I could actually hear her hanging up the phone. I attempted to call back several times thinking it must have been a mistake, but after the third attempt with no answer I knew she’s just a miserable person who can’t handle her job. I’m planning to file a complaint thru Hoag as well. Given the top notch bedside manner you typically get from a Hoag doctor, I think it’s important they know how they are being represented. Regardless, I was able to find a great alternative doctor that actually cares about its patients well-being. To the front desk lady - I hope you have a better day. Life’s too short.
I just called this office and the receptionist just hanged up on me. Very professional NOT.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
