If you are looking for a doctor with zero degree of compassion and kindness, go see Farzana Naqvi. I have been her patient for 13 years and have been seen by her at least 26 times. Year after year, she has become more robotic, spends 3 minutes with the patient, repeats herself like a robot, and since her knowledge is too limited, she refers you to your PCP for any question. I prefer Dr. Google to Dr Farzana Naqvi. The office staff turnover is horrendous. Not a single staff lasts there more than a few months, not surprising when the doctor is so I’ll mannered. I am done with any Hoag related doctor. They probably are paid so little that they are miserable and hate what they do. I regret staying with her for such a long time. Avoid this doctor.
Dr. Farzana Naqvi is GREAT, but her staff just seems unprofessional.
Have had several visits with Dr. Naqvi. Some were office visits, and some were video visits. She has always been very caring, she always listens attentively, and she always works toward getting my questions answered as quickly as possible. She is very committed to finding out what her patients' needs are, and then meeting or exceeding their expectations as to the best treatment, and, or medication for their particular medical problem, or condition. I, especially value her very caring approach to her patients' medical concerns.
Dr Naqvi and her staff are rude and condescending. We mutually decided to remove my mother from her care because she certainly expects the patients to do all the work, including follow up on progress and not to expect much from her. She had to be checked by us on her behavior Her staff is equally rude and speak down to patients in a very condescending manner. Dr Naqvi has zero bedside manners! When we questioned her behavior she had the audacity to refuse us further care.
Horrible doctor. Extremely arrogant attitude with no patience to listen to patient. Refused treatment after being questioned.
In Network. Have Anthem PPO. GREAT insurance. Was told they weren’t taking on any new Anthem BX PPIO patients. Illegal. Rotten. I’ve heard of this with HMOs. Never PPOs !!
Dr. Farzana Naqvi is a WONDERFUL woman, and has treated me over the past 10+ years. She is calm, professional, and genuinely cares about your well being. She is a partner in my health journey, and I am very thankful for watchful eye and expertise.
Not easy to find a smart, strong, yet very compassionate doctor - ESPECIALLY in Endocrinology. My former Endo (that I LOVED!) closed her practice for family reasons and I had a hard time finding that one in a million Endo docs who would not just would not just treat me like a number - and I found her! SO happy w/Dr. Naqvi! Yes, she IS strict, but that is what I need! My thyroid and menopause issues are complex and Dr.Naqvi leaves no stone unturned in quickly assessing the components. I feel SO much better! And, unlike a couple of other posters, I find that it is me who wants to see her more often! She and her staff give me great peace of mind that things will be on the right path ahead for a very long time! THANK YOU, Dr.Naqvi. You and your caring staff make my visits very helpful!

My first visit to meet Dr. Naqvi was not good. To start, I waited for a full hour to see the doctor because the office decided to hold a staff meeting. Nobody apologized or explained why everyone was left in a very quiet office. When I finally met the doctor, it was difficult to understand her. She was rushed and spoke fast. She told me three times I had “full blown osteoporosis” in my spine. Her recommendation was to get more tests and return in 3 weeks. The office staff could not make another appointment until 7 weeks out. The office staff was highly unprofessional and incompetent. They should have apologized or explained the ‘staff meeting’ and been more proactive in getting my next appointment. I am not at all impressed with the professionalism in this office.

Shitty doctor.. let me begin with my personal story and hope she reads this and begins to question her career and maybe go back to school.

I was recommended by my primary from a pool of Endochronologist. On my first visit I waited about 3035 min to be seen and that was cutting into my appointment time. I had two lab works prior to meeting her and I called the front desk and said to her I only took one lab, is it needed for the first visit? They said no just come on in. I went as I was being told and mind you this location was far for me so my first thought was I should consider how far the drive is. Waited and waited finally Naqvi shows up and asks me where my lab work was and said she couldn't do anything on the first day without it. Then she starts discussing how Horrible I look how she can't believe I waited this long to be seen. How severe my condition of hyperthyroid is but also keep in mind I had not done my lab work to check my thyroid levels so this is her assuming. I left that appointment very broken and helpless instead of feeling assured and better about my situation. During this time I continued her recommendations and in the following two weeks I continued to my following appointment.
Now I work and finding an appointment times are very difficult and also what job is going to just be okay with me being out of the office for 2 hours mid day right. So I have a mid day appointment and I call the front desk and say to them I just got my last blood work done a few days ago, have you received the results and they say no but come inn anyways. I go and I tell them I have to be at work in an hour please if there is a slight chance to be seen first I would appreciate it. Waited and my appointment time came and I waited in the patient room for 45 min ! I took a nap while waiting and while hearing Naqvi enter another patients room and begin consultation that lasted 20 min. She finally comes into my room and I am emotional at how careless this doctor is and I tell her I've been waiting for 45 min and she says " I have another patient that is more severe then you" but last week I was so sever? Anyways she tells me how my thyroid levels are so high blah blah continues to claim how severe I am and I tell her I would like to change to another Endochronologist that would have more time for me and is closer to me. She replies with I am not trying to steal your money by waiting your time.. I have other patients more sick then you.. you don't know what this means to you..

I ask her not to touch my medication dosage and I want her to stop being my doctor. Her voice was raging at me at a 10 and would not let me even speak. Once I said don't touch my dosage for the second time she began to turn her volume to a 2t and began to want to Touch me with her hands like if she was trying to hug me or rub my shoulders. Trying to Console me as if that's what would make it better. I felt so UNCOMFORTABLE and she began to change her tone and began transferring my paper work.

This doctor should be investigated for her practice.

Does not care about the patients well being. If you imply how bad your feeling she will not even give you any suggestions, very rude, hates when you take up more of her time by asking questions. Wish I did not waste my time.

I was thinking of where to post this and I will in a few places but here for sure because I dont know what those other negative reviews are about! Dr. Farzana Naqvi is extremely intelligent and intuitive. I have been seeing her for over a year now and she is completely in tune to my health and numbers to keep me on track and cancer free! I had my thyroid removed in April 2017 and she continues my care in managing TSH levels, calcium, vitamin d. She makes sure I have my ultrasounds and blood work and uses all this in combination to suggest and manage my care. She is so so smart! The ladies in the office are working their butts off so everyone should just be nice. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Naqvi is incredibly detailoriented, and made a intensive effort to get as much appropriate information as possible in order to form the most factbased analysis of my medical condition.
