Writing this update bc for some strange reason the 1 star, which they dont even deserve, got changed to a two star. Maybe yelp is doing favors for some businesses. Pretty sad

Dr. Is nice but staff is terrible. Difficult to get an appointment because of front desk. Then when you can wait an hour in waiting room. Then more time in observation room. The staff is just not booking right. One male at desk who was mostly goofing around and laughing said they have wipe the room down. Really.1 hour wait to wipe it down. I asked him if doctor knew we were waiting. He said of course he does. Doubt it.Clean house at front desk.

Dr. A is my very favorite doctor (and I see a lot of them). He is super personable, warm and caring, with great positive energy. He listens carefully, never rushing me with my always long list of questions. I just wish all my doctors could be this way!The staff has always been good, too, though my last visit (mid Dec 2020) was a little unsettling as a few patients were not wearing their masks correctly (or barely wearing them) in the waiting area. Pretty shocking, especially in a cancer clinic! The young woman at the check in desk tried her best to correct that, but you can only do so much when there's such ignorance in the world (especially in a conservative city like Newport Beach). Fortunately, it's possible to wait outside instead of in the waiting room. Just bring a warm jacket in the cooler months because waiting can take up to 30 mins or more sometimes.

I can not say enough about Dr.A. He saved my life. I was diagnosed with Stage 3C colon cancer around 5 years ago. I was seeing a doc in HB that told me my outlook was grim. I transferred over to Dr.A after my 1st chemo treatment. He was totally honest with me and helped me fight the awful chemo treatments i was receiving. He and his staff were awesome. The Chemo was awful, but i fought my way thru it with the help of the chemo nurses and Dr.A. I am still alive today although i suffer severe peripheral nureopathy i am blessed to be alive. I am very grateful to Dr. A and the chemo nurses at Keck USC.

Dr. Angstreich has been helping me with my own blood clot issues this past year and I was very impressed with him, so I referred my dad to him once my dad was diagnosed with stage IV cancer recently. He has helped dad a lot, we are very grateful. He's compassionate, caring and is very intelligent and on top of his game at all times. He is a good listener and he has his patient's best interest at heart. We trust and highly recommend him 100%.
