List of Gregg A. Feinerman's Reviews
Dr Gregg Feinerman is undoubtedly one of the best eye surgeons in California, and probably in the U.S. Before my cataract surgeries, I was tired of spending time and money every year to have my eyesight tested and my prescription lenses renewed. When I first met DR Feinerman, I asked him if it was possible for me not to have to wear prescription glasses anymore after my cataract surgery. He examined my eyes and recommended an extended vision premium lens for my left eye (mid-range and distance) and a standard lens for my right eye for reading. Initially, I was a bit skeptical if my wish could come true. Now, 1-1/2 year after my surgery, I’m so happy with my vision without glasses or contact lenses, and I want to thank Dr Feinerman and his staff for giving me my vision freedom, and for always being so nice to me during my visits to their clinic. Dr Feinerman is highly recommended.
I can't say enough great things about Dr. Feinerman and his staff! I was able to get in quickly to be seen for an eye issue. The staff was so polite, professional, and efficient. Dr. Feinerman spent time examining my eye and explaining the issue to me thoroughly. He referred my to a retina specialist and even called that office himself to get me on the schedule the next day. I appreciate him and his staff's quality of care, and I highly recommend Dr. Feinerman! You won't be disappointed!
He did my eyes and made two mistakes. He kept saying in every visit after cataract surgery that everything was perfect. I kept telling him something was wrong for many visits. So he decided to do something to clean the back of the lens. That did not help at all. So he finally sent me to a doctor at UC Irvine. It only took this doctor a few minutes to say that the lens was not on correct and that when he cleaned the lens it was a second mistake making it very dangerous to replace the lens. She said she would not do it. Now I can't see at night to drive and even walking is a problem if I catch some light just right. It is dangerous. If I try to look down to read, I can even loose the ability to see because of the blur I kept telling him about.
I found Dr. Feinerman here and went to him for a gnarly eye infection. During his examination he found I needed cataract surgery. I just completed the first of both eyes and the operation went off without a hitch. He is wonderful and I highly recommend his clinic. .
It took me over a year to finally write this but overall one year after my surgery i am honestly unhappy. the major reason is die to dishonesty from the doctor. i remember before the procedure and at the initial check ups following the procedure i specifically asked if i would have to wear glasses again to which the doctor kept telling me i wouldn’t need glasses till I was 50. now one year later i still need to wear glasses. so disappointing. perhaps if this would have been mentioned as a possibility it would not be so distressing. On top of that i distinctly remember trying to speak with the doctor at the first follow up about how one of my eyes felt that it didn’t see as clearly and i was rushed out and told I had 20/20 vision when I did not. its also sad that i feel the doctor was nice when i was signing up and before paying and at time of procedure but after he was paid i no longer felt like a special client just moved along quickly to make room for the next person. because things were bot truthfully told to me I believed getting the covid vaccine changed my vision and when i went to speak with the MD thats when he truthfully told me that when the eyes heal my astigmatism could come back and that was normal. the doctor did offer to fix it but with the risk of needing a corneal transplant. and to be fair at this point i no longer trust this doctor preforming any further procedures on me now. i think its sad as he has created an amazing business but dishonesty and not being filly truthful in all aspects especially when asked is wrong.
Its been almost a year and a half and finally getting around to the review. The only place I recommend for lasik. Its amazing going from glasses and contacts to being able to see. Best staff. And they made it as stress free as possible. Eyes are still perfect a year and a half later.
Getting lasik at Dr. Feinerman's Vision Center has been an amazing experience. From the consultation to the actual surgery, everyone involved made the entire process worthwhile. For as nerve racking an experience a surgery can be, Dr. Feinerman and his team made me feel completely at ease. I would recommend this location for anyone interested!
Five stars? I should give them SIX !! After doctor Feinerman did my cataract surgery, I was able to see how cute all the girls in his office were :) (My wife said it was ok to post that)
Gregg and his office are very welcoming and nice! I had the lasik procedure performed and it was way better than I had envisioned. I really recommended anyone looking to have their procedure have it done at this location!
Fantastic doctor and team! I had such a great experience with my LASIK surgery. The team was so kind, and the doctor was excellent as well. Appointment scheduling was quick, no long wait time, clean facility, and most importantly, painless, great result! Worth the 50mile drive from my home.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
