Hoag Hospital Newport Beach's Online Review Report Card

I received a phone call from a person that identified themselves as Tracy from case management, my mother who was recently a patient at hoag irvine recieved a survey of sorts and aperently gave a response that they didn't like , and this person called me angry and aggressive questioning me about something that I didn't know and continued to be rude and agressive even after I informed her that I would give her my mom's contact so she can better be informed. Edit: spoke to my mother she recieved a survey and didn't understand the questions, if you put out a survey and don't like the answers that doesn't give you the right to retaliate.

The hospital was amazing. After a car accident, I can say this hospital saved my life. I’m very appreciative for the hospital staff, nurses, and doctors for taking care of me during a time of need. I recommend Hoag Hospital to all. Every time I visit, I receive high-quality service at every level: from reception to the care the doctors provide. All are communicative, personable, and patient. Thank you, Hoag team!

Neala J. Hunter, M.D. My father had a heart attack 2 days ago and was transferred to hoag in Newport Beach allegedly they specialize in cardiovascular area. This doctor Hunter is by far the worse human being I have ever met in my life. She was rude had no empathy and her answer for everything are idk idk idk when she told us about my father having blood clots and talk to surgeon she asked if we had questions. I asked her a question and her response was it means he has blood clots talk to the doctor. The nurse that was doing the breathing test goes she was very cold I would ask for the the charge nurse ask to switch doctors and get more information absolutely unbelievable. May god have mercy on her evil heartless soul

I Want to Praise The Help & Attentiveness from the Nurse, Miaya. She works in the Emergency Room Dept. @Hoag. She Was Amazing!! She was Not Only Professional to the Very Extent of the Word, But Had the Best Bedside Manners Listening & Paying Her Utmost Attention To My Mom*s Needs and Concerns. She made Our visit So worth its while And Helped My Mom be on Her Way to Better Health. I THANK YOU, Miaya. U Are An Excellent Nurse!!! Keep Up the Awesome Work. We will Always Use Hoag!

I brought my daughter to the emergency room last night and we had never been there before and it was crowded although we had a girl named Melissa and she was the best she really helped my daughter while waiting to be seen and when we finally got into the ER room we had a woman named Diane she was the best as well. I give them both 5 stars for there services, now these the 2 employees make this ER safe and comfortable.

This place might as well be Kaiser! The worst. ER isn't even busy and they keep you in the lobby... the lobby has a bunch of druggies and meth heads talking to themselves. It's not safe here. They perform tests and send you back to the lobby. Unreal!!! There are plenty of rooms open in the ER. This place has fallen apart. No safety, no proper care. Leaving patients, especially the elderly, subject to these meth heads hallucinating. Who knows if they're violent. What a joke! I'm going to be filing complaints will all boards involved. This is not ok. Pure laziness. No HIPAA compliance, as you are forced to talk about private medical issues in the lobby in front of others.

Excellent services the nurses are very kind and very humble and very generous always with a smile The hospital the rooms are so clean and well taken care of the patient

Hoag has been taking great care of my family for 25 years..great doctors, nurse's and support staff.

HORRIBLE! This place has gone completely downhill over the past several years. Absolute garbage. Went to their emergency room which was packed beyond belief. Clearly they do not have enough staff which means they probably neglect to patient care. Who knows how many mistakes or lives they've cost. This goofy valet guy takes my keys. I go into the emergency room. I realize how ridiculous it is and decide to leave. I go back and ask for my keys and he wants to charge me nine dollars for parking. I have no problem paying nine dollars for valet but not when my car was not even parked yet. Sitting out front still. This place is trash.

Good service, the nurses. It's so nice all the time with you. Have a great 👍 time when we have our baby
