Hoag Urgent Care Newport Beach's Online Review Report Card

This place is absolutely incredible. The entire staff and medical personnel are very kind and helpful- I always get nervous about visiting urgent care centers out of state. It's sometimes hard for me to discuss my mental health condition and medications without feeling as though I am going to be judged. That's my own personal fear. Today I needed to be seen for an ongoing ear infection in my left ear. I was somewhat afraid I was making too much of an issue of it. My anxiety was at a super high level going in. I must tell you that from my first encounter with Rae at registration, I felt so comfortable and welcomed. I was reassured and felt understood. The nurse, Monet was also incredibly kind. She allowed me to tell her my weight without going through the scale weighing process. That helped with my issues surrounding eating disorders. I felt heard and seen. Respected and I felt like I could relax. The Nurse Practitioner, Christina Demarinis, thanked me for coming prepared with my medication info and past sinus and ear medication info and dates seen. I had been seen in PA for a double ear infection on 4-12-23. My right ear is better; however my left ear kept echoing and had lots of static. I questioned myself as to whether I was really in need of being seen. It turned out that I was prescribed a combination of antibiotic/steroid drops. And I felt as though I was validated and cared for. Upon checking out, I met Ramona, the practice manager. She was also extremely kind and helpful. I told her I was so impressed and thankful for the care I received. I highly recommend Hoag Urgent Care Newport Beach. Genuine compassion, personalized (and unhurried) treatment. Extremely professional staff, nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors. I am so fortunate.

I went there scare and stressed out. My experience was great! I was treated with care and compassion There were six people in front of me. The wait was not long and I spend my time reading a novel that I brought with me. Overall I feel confident recommending this Urgent care to all my friends and family.

It’s the best Urgent Care in Newport Beach! I waited for 8 minutes and they took me to a room. The wait was minimal and all the staff were so professional. I tested positive for Covid- .19. I’m just so fortunate I went there. They also noticed difficulty breathing and wheezing. They took care of the Asthma while I was there. We were scheduled to go to D.C. in 3 days so I’m forever grateful for the excellent care by Dr. E. Delavega gave me. I would have had these two serious illnesses in D.C. plus infecting people!

We went and saw Dr.S tonight for my son - he had an ear infection. This doctor went above and beyond for my son who's ASD. He not only checked my sons ears for an infection but also checked his stuffed animal to make sure she was ok! Also let my son check out his stuffys ears too! Was a great way to make a not so fun appointment comfortable for my son!!! 1000% recommend.

Love Hoag Urgent Care. The wait time is (almost always) less than 15 minutes and the staff is kind and professional.

Very good experience today with my son. Quick and efficient and was able to make appt online since his pediatrician had zero openings for the next two days. Was in and out and back home in no time!

Every time I have visited this Urgent Care, my appointments have been timely. Front Office is pleasant and efficient. Medical staff is personable and efficient. I never feel rushed. Staff is engaged.
