Rude, inconsiderate, uncaring doctor. Didn't show any compassion toward my mother or her condition. The poor excuse for a human being was in a hurry and blew us off during our appointment time in order to move onto his next appointment. Never again with Dr. Ahdoot.
Based on my experience today I find any other glowing reviews of Dr. Ahdoot hard to believe. Gotta be reviews from friends and family. I took my mom here and he walked in late, his shoes, pants and shirt were dirty and unwashed. He looked and smelled like he had an all nighter the night before. 2 minutes in, he took a phone call as he was telling my mom her lab results which she has been nervously waiting on for weeks. After chatting on the phone in front of us for a few minutes, he left the room to finish his convo. He came back in and sat down. I said, sir, you didn't say excuse me or apologize for taking a call in the middle of my mothers appointment. He said, "ok, anyway your results are a bit better". I said, sir, are you really going to ignore what I just said, I think what you just did to a paying patient is very disrespectful. He said, "Good" I said, "GOOD?! Really? you can at least excuse yourself or apologize for doing that in the middle of getting very important results and making us wait until you take a personal call." He said "no, I will never apologize to you, take your results and get out". So we got a copy of the results and left. The manner in which he took the call and the way he spoke to my mom was out of line. My Mom is 74 years old and a bit scared of what the results might say. I've never seen anyone be treated like this by a doctor in my life. Super unprofessional, no bedside manner, rude and dressed very unprofessionally. His actions weren't the worst part to be honest, its the way he spoke to us.
Dr. Ahdoot is a very skillful and patient nephrologist. While another gave my wife very little hope of preventing dialysis, he changed her medications and said that she would not need dialysis for ten years! Truly, it's hard to find doctors like Dr. Ahdoot anymore! In meeting him, In meeting him, we could tell that he was sent by Gd to help her. Both he and his family should only be healthy and prosperous!
Dr. Ahdoot has been my nephrologist for 25 years. He has walked me through a kidney disease diagnosis when I was 23. He literally saved my life when I showed up in the ER with heart failure when I at 29... and now all these years later, he continues to be the one physician who God consistently works through to bless me with thriving health. I could not ask for a better doctor!
My wife has been on Peritoneal Dialysis for 2+ years. Dr. Ahdoot has been instrumental in adjusting her medications and dialysis fluids. A very caring, personable kidney doctor. He works in concert w/ the dialysis nursing staff at Fresenius, Irvine. He knows his stuff.
I don't feel a review does Dr. Ahdoot any justice. Sincerely a man of his word, expertise, and genuine care. His knowledge of his specialty is of second nature for him. He's quite a busy man but, nevertheless, makes time for his patients, especially those in critical condition. Highly recommend him.
Dr Ahdoot treats you like family. Checks on his patients in the hospital daily. Saved my husband's kidneys and got him out of dialysis. He knows his stuff and you will be in good hands.
Dr Ahdoot saved my life. My pcp referred me to him when my kidney functions were suddenly elevated and I had severe leg pain. Dr Ahdoot ordered an ultrasound and some other tests. Then the whirlwind started. I had cancer. Stage 4 lymphoma. I was 36 then. 10 years later, I'm still alive, thanks to this man. Forever grateful! Thank you Dr Ahdoot for always being so kind, professional and caring.
A great and caring doctor. He has been caring for my parents for years and it is no exaggeration to say that he has kept them alive in the most dire of circumstances. He take the time to know the patients and understand their needs.
Dr. Jacob Ahdoot is simply awesome. My whole family goes to him. He saved my grandfather and sister's life. He made my grandfather live 45 years longer. And when my grandfather was dying because he fell down and had brain hemorrhage, he sat down with us in his my grandfather's hospital room and patiently explained to us what had happened to him. He also saved my sister's life from an infection disease, which multiple doctors at kaiser, ucla, ucsd could not cure. He is very knowledgeable, down to earth and friendly. Some of our family members go to him even though their insurance does not pay for them to go to him. They just pay cash because he is worth it. <br>Thank you Dr. Ahdoot.
This doctor saved my fathers live! I setup an appointment for my father to see him and this dr knows what he's taking about didn't have much history on my father due to him being a new patient but saw my father and advised us to go to the er! Which like I sai at first saved my dads life! My father is going through kidney failure and had severe swelling to bilateral limbs that went up to his groin due to diabetes. Dr Ahdoot saw him an told him go to we set everything up when we got to er goad knew him very well! Got my dad in without any issue started all the testing that was needed and handle business! I owe dr Ahdoot for what e did for my dad. We found out that my dad had 71/2 liters of fluid retained in his body that could of suffocated him in his sleep! I'm so thankful words can't express my appreciation!! Dr Jacob Ahdoot god bless you!!!
