Dr Landman is a Great Physician.
Dr. Landman has been my urologist for several years. I have a cyst in my left kidney that requires yearly monitoring. From day one, Dr. Landman took the time to educate me on my condition and any possible treatment that may be needed. His professionalism and knowledge put me at ease and he explains my results in a way that I can understand. His staff has always been so kind and professional. Everyone smiles at his office :). He has already scheduled me for my next appointment later this year. Dr. Landman and his team are top notch.
Excellent bedside manner. Dr Landman is both a teacher and an advocate, passionate and compassionate. Lucky man found the career he was born to do. Lucky me found him. Thank you Dr Landman.
Dr Landman is the best of the best...the right combination of professionalism....knowledge...and putting you at ease. So blessed he was recommended to me for my ongoing needs
5 stars is to little, he deserves more.I trust Dr. Landman with my eyes closed. He is a great Doctor. If I follow my previous Urologist I will be in Dialasis or dead.He saved both of my kidneys from cancer and for the last 7 years I am cancer free. You can not find a better Urologist !
After having multiple operations to remove kidney stones, my ureter was scarred and narrowed. I was afraid that if I had another kidney stone it would certainly lodge in my ureter. My good friend referred me to Dr Landman and insisted that l see him even though I live 265 miles away. I am very thankful that I did.For the sake of brevity, I will leave out the details, but tell you that Dr Landman reconstructed my ureter, removing the narrowed portion of my ureter. After I had sufficiently recovered he had tests run to determine why I was getting kidney stones. This has allowed me to alter my diet to avoid further trouble. This is extremely important for me as I do not experience the pain associated with kidney stones that most people suffer, thus I have no forewarning of a kidney stone until it is too late. So, when I saw Dr Landman, he examined all aspects of my situation. He did not jump right to surgery. He understands the entire system and chooses the best option for each situation. So many other urologists that I had seen only know one way to treat a problem, but not Dr Landman. I have complete confidence in him and his ability to both diagnose and treat my problems. And to help find a way to resolve the underlying issues that lead to kidney stones. This is something that truly sets him above all others that I had consulted with.
Excellent doctor.... knowledgeable, caring and extremely helpful. Excellent surgeon as well.I highly recommend Dr. Landman and am thankful I found him!
Dr. Landman is an excellent doctor. He has been very professional in helping me through my kidney cancer diagnosis, surgery and recovery. His bedside manner is empathic and genuine. He has taken time to answer questions and talk to me as if I have been his friend for years. Dr. Landman continues to monitor a few risks I'm still dealing with. We have discussed scenarios and available options. I trust him implicitly.
I had a very difficult kidney stone problem which another urologist, after two operations, was unable to resolve. I was referred to Dr. Jamie Landman. Dr. Landman was professional, very attentive, courteous and clearly is top in his field.Do not get me wrong, I expect medical professionals to be knowledgeable and handle themselves professionally. But Jamie Landman did far more than this----something remarkable, he truly cared about me. He was supportive when I was scared, explained everything carefully, was happy when things went well and personally distressed when things went poorly. He operated on me two times and, in a way I do not understand, seem to treat me as if I was someone in his family. I have no idea how I got so lucky.I trust his judgement 100%. I still marvel at how a person can care for others, sincerely care, as Dr. Landman does. This, to me, is a rare and wonderful trait. Here is a man that can do alchemy---he can turn a medical procedure into a religious experience.
I was told that Dr. Landman was a world-class nephrologist, but I think he may be the best in the world. Gave me great counsel, great options, and when I mention his name to the healthcare staff at UCI, they call him a "unicorn": a brilliant surgeon who is also a beloved co-worker. Usually when I ask healthcare staff what it's like to work for surgeons, they answer "you know the difference between God and a surgeon? God doesn't think He's a surgeon." Dr. Landman is brilliant, humble, and a delightful person. I couldn't be in more capable hands ...
Dr. Landman completed kidney cancer surgery on my dad close to 6-7 years ago now and I was impressed with his bedside manner, experience, knowledge and most importantly his confidence. Little did I know that I would end up having kidney cancer surgery most recently. I have found that in speaking with Dr. Landman he is direct, to the point and is willing to answer any question about what the procedure entails. We went into my operation with a very low probability of being able to walk out of surgery with both of my kidneys in tact. Dr. Landman performed nothing short of a miracle as he was able to remove the cancer and save my kidney, which I am truly thankful to have him as my doctor.
Dr Landman is an OUTSTANDING Urology Doctor. I have full confidence in him, his abilities and the information he provides. He is caring, warm and an all around great doctor. I have never felt rushed, hurried and that he was put off by my sometimes silly but important questions regarding my condition. If there were 10 stars........
Dr. Landman is an extremely caring doctor. He patiently listens to my needs and never rushes to end his consultation. He strives to perform all he can to benefit his patient. His demeanor is always pleasant and relieves me of my anxiety. I have the highest regard for his character and his surgical skills in carrying out my kidney procedure.
Dr Landman is the best in the field of Urology. His patient care is one of the kind!
I was referred to Dr Jaime Landman by a very well respected Newport Beach urologist. After an incidental finding from a prior CT Scan , it was discovered that I had a lesion on my left kidney . The above urologist specifically recommended Dr Landman saying he was the best in his field .I’m writing this review to say thank you to Dr Landman and his team. They are not only a top notch team of professionals that handled with skill my biopsy under Dr Landman’s direction but from my initial consultation to my post biopsy appointment, I felt I couldn’t of been in better hands .Professional, compassionate and genuine! Hard to find these days !!
