My husband an I did an extensive research when we were choosing his doctor. Our first visit with Dr. Bassett proved our choice right! We had a very pleasant consultation with him when he explained everything to be expected, why and how in layman's terms. Very comforting and exudes confidence in the patient and the family. Of secondary importance is his office staff. They are very courteous, professional and accommodating. Five +++

A privilege and honor to have Dr. Bassett as my surgeon. I'm a 47 year old female that had clear cell carcinoma on my right kidney, 4.3 cm mass. He was able to perform a partial nephrectomy, save my kidney function and most importantly prolong my life. Dr. Bassett is an extraordinary human being, to say the least! Eternally grateful for him. Highly recommend Dr. Bassett!

I recently met with Dr. Bassett to discuss a treatment plan as a new patient. He is very likable, made me feel comfortable, and I have complete confidence in him. Dr. Bassett is extremely knowledgeable regarding my condition and I am very impressed with his staff and the way they run their office.

My experience with Dr. Bassett has been amazing. He spent well over an hour in our first visit discussing the single port robotic prostatectomy. Three days before surgery he spent over an hour with a 3d model showing me the specifics of my upcoming surgery and answered all my questions. He performed the surgery, I was discharged from the hospital the next day, and I have been almost entirely pain-free in the week following the surgery. I have also been able to walk 5 miles per day since two days after the surgery! He is a phenomenal surgeon and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Bassett provides exemplary care, taking time with his patients and family members with his willingness to educate and patiently answer questions. Dr. Bassett practices medicine with a human kindness, provides the example, and sets a very high standard of what you would want from every doctor in your medical care portfolio.
