So far so good! It was a little intimidating trying to get a regular check up appt before getting pregnant because he is so busy, but once you’re pregnant and running through the process, they are super available for you and accommodating. So far everything has gone super well and the staff are all friendly and helpful too. Dr. Illeck is awesome and chatty (just enough!) and a pleasure to work with.

Best obgyn I've ever seen and I've been to many and none are as great as Dr. Illeck, he's hands down the BEST.

Dr. Illeck delivered my first and only child so far and I could not have had a better experience! My husband and I knew we were in great hands right after we met him in the labor and delivery room for the first time, and Dr. Illeck put us at ease (he was the on-call doctor when I delivered, so it was the first time we met him). I was told he has one of the lowest c-section rates in all of Orange County, which I really liked since my goal was to avoid an unnecessary c-section after having several friends who had unnecessary c-sections. And, I was able to give birth vaginally under his care even though my labor was very long, so I was very happy. I had such a great experience with Dr. Illeck that I referred my sister to him when she was expecting, and my sister had the most amazing experience with him as well! My sister had previously had two home births, so for her to switch to a doctor in a hospital setting was huge. Highly recommend!

He is absolutely horrible. I could tell he was spoiled as a child. Very entitled and rude. I felt judged by him during the entire appointment. He ended my appointment early for some reason and said he was unable to provide the care I needed. This review will be based solely on his character alone. I wouldn't trust him to look after my parents in a nursing home. Truly rigid and vile at heart!

Dr. Illeck is incredibly knowledgable and takes his time to address all of my questions and concerns.

I went to see dr Illeck for prenatal care. Poor bedside manner. He refused to see me because of my religious background. He reported that he had one bad experience with a someone of same religious beliefs and because of that he will no longer see patients of that religious group. He didn't take the time to hear my personal decisions when it comes to medical treatment. This tells me that 1) he hasn't taken the time to learn about my religious beliefs and 2) he does not have a working knowledge of advanced technologies and alternative strategies for blood conservation.

I've been a patient of Dr. Illeck's since I got pregnant with my daughter (almost 2 yrs now). I saw his reviews online and I decided to try him out. Soon after my pregnancy was confirmed, I started to bleed heavily (about 8 weeks into my pregnancy). This happened over the weekend and I was certain that I'd lost my baby. I had previously had a miscarriage a year prior so the experience was still very traumatic. I'll never forget the moment when Julie (the nurse practitioner) told me that my baby's heartbeat was still perfectly fine -- I was put on bed rest and Dr. Illeck referred me to another excellent specialist who would go on to monitor my pregnancy since it was considered 'high risk'. My water broke early and Dr. Illeck scheduled me for a c-section a few hours later. It was very quick and my daughter was in my arms only minutes later. I can't say more to recommend him. I got the best care and treatment that I could ever ask. He didn't push me into having a c-section even though I had a conditon that renders it almost impossible for me to have a natural birth. I have recommended him to friends and they keep coming back.

Dr. Illeck and his staff are amazing..... He is so skilled, smart, and friendly. He diagnosed my condition in 5 seconds while my previous OBGYN took 1 year to diagnose. He is just amazing.

When I moved to Southern California six years ago I was 20 weeks into my first pregnancy. A trusted friend recommended Dr. Illeck. Since then I have had a second child under Dr. Illeck care and could not be more pleased with his staff, bedside manner, and professionalism. Speaking of staff, of all the medical practices I have visited I must say this group has been the most successful at creating a pleasant, warm, and welcoming environment. Suffice it to say, I recommend Dr. Illeck anytime the opportunity presents itself.
