This was a wonderful experience. Bernadette was so thorough and friendly. She is a gem. And so was your assistant. Dr Byers i felt heard and you are so knowledgeable and explanatory. This was a great experience from start to finish. Gina Hutchings
Update - had a second appointment with Dr. Byers today, and again, it was a positive experience. This time I had a potentially painful procedure, but she made it as comfortable as possible. Both she and her nurse took care to keep me informed during the session and were concerned about how I was feeling. Afterwards there was good follow-up at the front desk. I can recommend Dr. Byers and her office support without hesitation.
I was excited to try a new doctor as I came here as a new patient for chronic utis and was out in maybe 15 minutes. She asked me a few questions but it rushed. Her front desk staff is not very helpful or friendly either. I paid a lot of money to see the doctor and got no help.
Expensive, matter of fact, does not want to be bothered with bedside manner or emotional support.
If you have an appointment with Jill Byers, cancel it! I saw her for the first time a couple weeks ago. She was very stoic. She did not spend a lot of time with me. She actually had one foot out the door when she diagnosed me. To make a long story short. I was misdiagnosed ended up in the hospital for three days with a severe bladder infection that spread to my kidneys.
The WORST experience I’ve ever had. They do not treat their patients kindly or with any respect. Absolutely DO NOT go here. I ended up in urgent care three times before this doctor took me seriously. Do not go here.
If I could give no stars, I would. This person is cold, very harsh and not sympathetic to a person in pain. I came here hoping to find relief from a long series of urological problems and she, including her office staff, are rude and cold. Do not go here if you want any medical care. Truly the worst experience I've ever had as someone who is chronically ill and was hoping for a kind physician to help.
I have been having reoccurring problems and have seen Dr. Byers for several months now. No explanation as to why these infections continually are reoccurring. Was told that she did not have time to explain and go over it again with me. I told her that she had not explained it to me before, even if she had this was no way to answer your patient. Especially, when you are in pain and your symptoms keep reoccurring. The office staff can be rude and make you feel uncomfortable. Not professional in my opinion she may be a good doctor, but her communication skills are definitely lacking and she is always in a hurry to get on to the next patient.
Good? Who knows? Could not make appt. "Selective" Dr. Byers website states: 'Dr. Byers and her staff are devoted to their patients and to the commitment of providing quality patient care on all levels." No no no, not so. I could not schedule an appointment because I could not provide the right answers to the front office scheduler who gave me a very rude third degree about my former urologists, and asked me questions about test results that only the doctor could answer. "Why do you want to monitor your prostate function?" Because I was told by other physicians, this is appropriate at my age, over 70. The process was so disagreeable that I decided to go elsewhere, perhaps another urologist is not so "selective" about what conditions they want to treat or monitor. I am not even having prostate problems, but at my age, I should have my prostate monitored. What kind of practice has a front desk that tells prospective patients that the doctor doesn't want to treat them? The appointment Scheduler's bad attitude is a bad reflection on this M.D.
Dr. Byers, I would recommend her to all my friends. Very thorough and explains what the problem is and the solution. Her office staff are very friendly and helpful. Five Stars for the group. Rosemary Thompson

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
