Kambiz Vahabzadeh's Online Review Report Card

I referred a patient that is a physician to Dr.Vahababzadeh. they came back to me and reported to me exactly what happened with their experience. They left several messages nobody ever answered the phone. Finally someone return their call and they said that they needed to send every single page of every single medical record, which this patient had over 15 years of medical records. The patient got the family involved and got all the medical records sent to the to the doctors office. They worked with a lady name Sonya she was super rude from the beginning. She wanted a referral sandwich. I was happy to send the referral, and finally all the medical records were sent to the the doctors office. Finally, they made the appointment after almost 3 months of waiting. When they arrived to the appointment, the office was so cold that any human would’ve gotten sick by sitting in that office for more than five minutes. My patient asked if there was a way that I could turn down the AC and Sonya said no but the girl next to her said yes I can do that. Then my patient asked if there was a patient portal and Sonya said no there isn’t. It’s only for physicians, but then the girl next to her said yes, there is a Patient Puerto let me help you. After waiting for 45 minutes my patient was taken in the back they used a home scale and they used a manual blood pressure cuff machine and it was incorrect when they did the manual blood pressure compared to the machine. It was 40 points different. My patient waited for one hour and 15 minutes and the doctor never showed up. It wasn’t so much. The doctor was late. It was the experience that they had with this girl name Sonya it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. On top of that my patient was a physician that I was referring to this office.. we were hoping to transfer the patient from Cedar Sinai to Newport Beach since the patient lived closer to Newport than Cedars but this was such a bad experience with the office staff with the physician, not showing up for over an hour and 15 minutes on the first time, the patient was even being referred. I regret ever referring this patient to this physician.

I recommend Dr. Vahabzadeh. Dr. V listens and knows the correct questions to ask. Meaning he will recommend other doctors if you're experiencing symptoms that are not due to kidney issues. Truly caring and professional. So happy I found Dr. V.!

During a recent dermatology appointment this past summer, we mentioned in passing that my husband needed a Nephrologist. Our dermatologist knew just who we needed--Dr. Kambiz Vahabzadeh. He is very kind, compassionate, patient, professional and a great listener. His easy-going personality immediately puts us at ease at every visit. He thoroughly examines my husband, and orders any necessary scans, tests, and/or biopsy necessary to determine treatment for my husband's kidney issues. He even stopped by the hospital last week before the nurse took my husband into the procedure area to have a kidney biopsy, just to say hello and check in on him. Each step of the way, Dr. Vahabzadeh makes sure we understand his Plan of Care for my husband, and he makes After Visit Notes on the Patient Portal that we can retrieve and print, in case we forget what was discussed during the appointment. He always asks us if we have any questions and takes all the time needed to answer them, with kindness and patience. Our encounters with Dr Vahabzadeh have been continually such a blessing, and his staff are amazing and a blessing to us, too! They are always so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Dr Vahabzadeh!

It's rare to find a smart, talented doctor these days who has a bedside manner to match their intellect and medical acumen. Dr. Vahabzadeh is that one in a million. He was personable yet professional in all of our dealings. I cannot recommend him enough to those looking for a kidney doctor.

Dr V is an extraordinary doctor!! He's been with me through kidney failure, kidney transplant, and beyond. He's been a friend, counselor, and guiding hand when I needed it most.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Kambiz Vahabzadeh for 3 years. He is a gifted doctor with great compassion and kindness. My wife's condition has greatly improved and Dr. Kambiz as he is well known is one of the reasons she is doing much better. He takes the time to explain the diet she has to follow, the goals she needs to meet and a change of lifestyle. We are extremely blessed to have met him. We highly recommend him.

Very kind and caring Doctor. He was one of the first I saw in the hospital and was who pin-pointed one of the reasons I was so sick and corrected it as fast as he could. Visited every day and answered all of my questions, even those that might not have related specifically to his specialty. Highly recommended!
