List of Lee F Carter's Reviews
Excellent Cardiologist, listens to all my concerns, has been able to stop both aflutter and afib.
Excellent diagnostic capabilities and care from Dr. Carter and his staff.
Dr Carter is attentive, thorough and helpful. I would recommend him highly. He treats me like he would treat his family.
I loved Dr. Carter. He was very attentive, professional & courteous. This was my first time seeing a cardiologist and I was a bit nervous because of family history. Dr. Carter put me at ease. He did not rush my appointment. He answered all of my questions and concerns. The office staff is top of their game. They emailed forms right away. Followed up on referrals. Called to confirm appoint. They were professional and courteous over the phone and in person. I would highly recommend this office.
I am a patient of Dr. Carter and highly recommend as an excellent cardiologist with a subspecialty in electrophysiology. Dr Carter listens carefully, is forthcoming and answers questions in detail. I always feel comfortable and very well cared for by the entire staff. As a Healthcare professional, I chose Dr Carter due to his excellent reputation. I am so fortunate to be in his care. I have referred friends who are very pleased.
Excellent physician. You can tell he loves what he does. He is always up to date on the latest advances in cariology and is accessible to his patients.
Dr Carter has been my Cardiologist for years. I started with Dr. Blakenbaker 11 years ago when they shared a practice. They saved my life. Blankenbaker had to move away and I wound up with Carter. I've been very happy with both doctors. They were the ones that started the rehabilitation program at Hoag. Neither one of them has ever even hinted that I couldn't see another doctor. Since they were in the same practice I can understand Blankenbaker's decision not to accept patients from Carter. Bottom line - they saved my life and since then I've been very happy with Dr. Carter.
Very excellent service and professional staffs. Doctor himself is very excellent. No other words can describe. He is very details, professional. After all exams, he will meet patient one more time to go over all the exams, offer to check up and follow up after. Best.
I am very thankful to doctor Carter for saving my life. Dr. Carter has a great way of explaining things that make things clear and he is very thorough. I’ve had to make lifestyle upgrades. I’m grateful to Dr. Carter and the Hoag nurses Who cared for me.
Not true “heart” doctor in my opinion. Unethical behavior Dr. Richard Blankenbaker refused to see me because he is best friends with my latest cardiologist Dr. Lee Fredrick Carter. Apparently since his friend is seeing me, I’m not allowed to move to another cardiologist. Neither Dr. Lee Fredrick Carter would let me move on to another cardiologist nor Dr. Richard Stanfill Blankenbaker Jr would even consider me as a patient. These doctor’s behavior are unethical in my eyes. I spoke with both offices about my frustration and they were not considerate of my freedom to choose whoever I prefer as a cardiologist. I do not feel comfortable with Dr. Lee Carter any longer and wanted to explore other options, but since they are both doctors from Hoag, according to both docotrs, I am not able to look for another cardiologist. Dr. Lee carter is not giving me solutions I need and have actually found through other type of doctors. I call this the “good all boys club” monopolizing patient’s choices. It is appalling that both offices staff are also TRAINED TO REFUSE this. It is not okay to use Hoag Hospital (which is a great hospital) as a tool to recruit or take advantage of patients who go there. This is MY LIFE, MY HEART, MY CONDITION, MY CHOICE we are talking about here not just another folder they get to control and manipulate as they wish. These doctor behavior are unethical in my eyes. Does anyone have another recommendation for a cardiologist in Newport Beach, CA? A doctor that can treat and also be a fair doctor?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
