Matthew P Siljander's Online Review Report Card

A few weeks ago, I was playing pickleball and experienced a sudden pain in my right leg. It was painful enough that I had to quit play. I went home and wrapped my leg and over the next couple of weeks things improved, but when I tried to run I experienced pain. I went to Dr. Siljander to see what was going on. Before I saw him, they did x-rays of my knee. When Dr, Siljander came into the examining room, it was obvious he was in a hurry. He quickly told me that the problem was arthritis in my knee. I asked him how arthritis would present in such an acute way but didn't get any reasonable answer. Since then, I did some research and found that an ACL injury presents with the symptoms I had, especially the ability to walk without pain but experience pain on running - and the gradual improvement over time. I'm not a doctor, but his diagnosis just did not make sense to me. Perhaps if I had gone to a sports physician, I might have gotten a different diagnosis.

Dr. Siljander replaced my left hip. His team was extremely thorough with lots of excellent information along the way to make this scarey surgery not so scary.. The day of surgery had awesome nurses, doctors, toys, and distractions that actually make it fun! It was over in less than a blink of an eye! I walked around standing taller than ever same day. Days 2-5 i used a walker then a cane...9 days later I tossed the cane and walked on my own. I give his team and process a 10 +. Thank you all very much!

Just had a total right knee replacement by Dr. Siljander. He did an excellent job preparing me for the surgery. The surgery went well and I am now 2 weeks post op and right on target.

Professional, pleasant mien. Explained the joint replacement issues and discussed options. Hip replacement surgery was the best short and long term solution for my situation. Pre surgery contact and instructions were thorough and very beneficial. Surgery was painless and recovery is progressing. Dr Saljander or his office has contacted me every day to inquire about my recovery and has offered helpful suggestions. Highly recommended.

No. He was over an hour late from the time of my appointment. He treated me like I was "an old woman" and that alone explained the pain I was in. No real recommendations or solutions. Kept looking at his watch. I did ask him "if I was keeping him from something important", but his explanation was that he got messages on his watch. I thought he should wait until my appointment was over before he checked messages.

Fantastic doctor I had an extremely difficult case and he took care of it I'd recommend him to anybody that has Total knee procedure

I was so lucky to have Dr. Siljander perform hip replacement surgery. Two days after the surgery, I was walking with a walker. With the help of my physical therapist I started using cane a week later. Now after 3 1/2 weeks after the surgery, I walk without cane in the house most of the time. Pretty soon I will be walking outside without cane, I hope. I highly recommend Dr. Siljander.

Absolutely phenomenal' He is professional and amicable. He respected the fact that I had already been through this procedure, on my other hip, and carefully listened to what I had to say.

I just had a hip replacement by Dr Mattheuw Siljander, after 2 weeks i could walk again without a walker and very little pain. Thank you so much Dr Siljander for helping me. .you are a wonderful Doctor and i recommend you to every body .I will be ready soon to do my left hip soon. Jim Berry
