Memorialcare Imaging Center - Newport Beach's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment but they were running behind schedule. When I got in my technician was very friendly. He helped to make my experience a comfortable and calm one.

This location has incompetent administrative staff. They called me the day before my appointment to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover the total cost of my MRI. Why didn't they call me sooner?! I communicated with my Dr. and he got it approved right away. I immediately called and left a message with the authorization code. I got a call back saying that if they didn't hear back from me by the afternoon, they would cancel my appointment. When I called them back a few minutes later, they were rude, & had me on hold for 20 minutes. I called back the next morning & found out that they cancelled my appointment. (?!)Then they had me on hold for 20 minutes. Ugh. Rude & unprofessional.

Rude, bureaucratic, and unhelpful.

Was told on app to be there 1 he before because needed prep, text message said 20mins before. I showed up and waited over an hour for a prep that took 5 mins

Had an appointment last week but tech called in sick , rescheduled for today , when I arrived was told equipment was broken and was sent to another location. Got to second location on time only to find they had scheduled me on the wrong machine. Told to come back in 2 hours , arrived on time and now have been waiting over a half hour past my appointment time. Wave imaging is the absolute worst facility and most incompetent schedulers.

Was there on December 1st with my husband for a wrist and hand ct scan ... a week later no results are sent over to my doctor and when my doctor calls the office tells her that I canceled my appointment and never showed up for the test.. I spend an hour at least calling and getting no help and no one at the Newport Beach office will pick up the calls. The supervisor Guadalupe refused to take my call I had to drive for over an hour in traffic to the facility - only to find out that the technician who did the test the week before only took a portion of the picture, so when it was time to put the info in, the system recognized it as incomplete and my half portion of test results have been sitting in a pile for OVER A WEEK!!! No one called, and when I called I was given the run around and told I never showed up for my appointment The technician and Guadalupe - need to be fired. The small saving grace in the office is the young gentleman who works at the front desk I have stage 4 lupus, I am immune compromised and now on Monday I have to go back down to a different office and do the missing portion of the test that was overlooked the week prior. I wasn't apologized to, in fact I was lied to about the reason as to why all morning they had insisted I never showed up for my appointment and my results were half done and sitting in a pile, not even recorded in the system.All the people coming here are mostly elderly- please do not take your elderly parents or grandparents here for any imaging. The staff is reckless, careless and insensitive, the worst being Guadalupe, whom I'm sure wouldn't want her own mother treated the way she treated me today. Please wave imaging, replace this technician and Guadalupe and give us patients nice and compassionate people who actually care. I'm sure if I owed this office money or a copay they would be calling me nonstop. Do better / we are patients at YOUR facility. You wouldn't want your family being treated like this if they came in for imaging for a health reason.

My experience at this place was so wonderful and such a blessing because the staff took such great care of me! Alora was incredibly kind, patient, professional and loving with me. I highly recommend this business With all my heart.

Easy appointment scheduled, easy chk in, 15 min wait, called in, Tech was superior, friendly, efficient, professional, released quickly. Thats the way I like it.

Employees very friendly and helpful as well as setting up an appointment.

When you've been rescheduled by an automotive service three times without being able to reach the clinic, it's time to leave one star. Wish I had chosen another place because my shoulder has gotten worse in the time that I've had to wait.
