List of Parminder Dhaliwal, Md's Reviews
Outstanding Doctor with decades of experience. He looks for the best outcome for his patients.
I like Dr. Dhaliwal & his staff. I think he is thorough & straight to the point, which I like. I know where I stand & what I have to do. I have no complaints.
I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Dhaliwal, I had been to a GI doctor, a friend recommended .Unfortunately she was so rude I would never recommend her to anybody. I was hesitant to do another colonoscopy, as I had already had one 3 months ago. I am so grateful to Dr. Dhaliwal, for figuring out my why I've had diarrhea. The staff is so helpful and nice, unlike my experience from my previous doctors front office staff. Wendy Jackson
This is Review, very professional and saved my life. Renée Obrien I was rushed to Hoag hospital with Excruciating stomach pains. Within 20 minutes they called me to triage. From the MRI they knew my colon was ready to tear. ( My Mom died from this at 69 yrs old. I was told I had diverticulitis. I was told it's genetics. Dr.Dhaliwai was very professional and kind. He had made sure I was on a liquid diet. With IV's of antibiotics and morphine for the pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Dhaliwai.
They seem super nice in the office to be honest it made me suspicious why were they super nice well there was a catch I was told I was going to go to Hoke hospital for my colonoscopy and when I called to make your reservation confirmation with hog I end up asking about what the cost of this procedure is and I was told it was something around $1300 I was also told by my regular doctor that if I’m over 50 this procedure is free so I called back my doctor questioned why I was sent a whole hospital when there is another clinic that could be doing this procedures for me for free I was told I was given the option NEVER WAS specially when you’re broke and not making money do you think anybody would miss such a important part there is a procedure place will cost 1200 and there’s a place will cost free so I was redirected to other facility obviously less luxurious but nevertheless same procedure same doctor and free and I will also questioned the $280 medication again when you’re broke every dollar counts and on that matter also I was given a break and I paid I believe $48 and take care of my colonoscopy so BE AWARE OF THE SCAM . Hope this help to some people who cannot afford these kind of numbers on a hard times like these days that we are living through.
Dr. Dhaliwal is the best!!! he fixed my ulcer and gastritis answered all my questions and he is a a great person 1000 percent recommend him. All my family uses him now we love him and his staff is great he is very thorough and he made me feel like i was in great hands!!!
Last week was my 4th scope work with Dr. Dhaliwal. He's exceptionally professional, even following protocols just prior to the procedure to confirm I'm the patient and the procedure he will perform. Immediately after each procedure he met with my wife (and me) and ensured we understood the results. My wife likes him. It's nice having a doctor that acts like a friend, and cares for me as a person.
My first experience with Dr. Dhaliwal will be my last. He may be a competent specialist, but the way he spoke to my wife immediately following Friday's endoscopy and a few feet from my bed while I was still in recovery, was more than rude, dismissive and disrespectful. I know my wife, a retired family doctor, is articulate, slow to irritation and respectful of physicians. She is a savvy medical consumer and asks clear questions to make sure she understands. She did not deserve to be spoken to in the way Dr. D. did, and he has a lot to learn about how to address seniors.
During the Intake Interview, Dr. Dhaliwal may have been in a hurry, and I excused his abrupt manner and habit of interrupting, wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt as I was already there. He performed an Endoscopy on me at Hoag Hospital yesterday. When I was in Recovery, he phoned my wife from a few feet adjacent to my bed to brief her on the procedure, and my impression changed. My wife is a calm, intelligent woman, a retired health care provider educated at USC who taught high school science post retirement and understands medical information very clearly. She had questions, and knowing her I know that they were delivered respectfully and clearly. The Dr. repeatedly cut her off, sharply interrupting, and spoke to her in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. He does not know how to talk to people and we definitely will not be back.
I love Dr. Dhaliwal, he was the first doc. to take my condition seriously and would refer him to anyone who was seeking a GI doctor in the area!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
