From the moment I met him, he put me completely at ease, explaining the procedure in a way that made me feel confident and calm. Excellent Surgeon Dr. Peter C. Wang was recommended by my oncologist to repair a hernia from a previous surgery. I was impressed by his vast knowledge and entertained by his quick wit. He has a knack for keeping his patients informed and calm, knowing he is going to help you get through a tough moment in your life. I wish him continued success as he helps more people through their health challenges.

I saw Dr. Wang for about a year after being extremely ill. Recently had surgery and so happy with my results. The office staff is amazing, and everyone is so helpful. Surgery was scary but I am so relieved with my recovery!

Amazing Doctor I met Dr. Wang roughly 6 months ago. I had a hernia for over 20 years. One the size of the softball the second one about the size of a golf ball.Dr. Wang found two more during surgery.Neither really bothered me, at 65 I thought it best to take care of it.From day one, Dr. Wang was very clear on what to expect and how long the process would be.Today was my three month check up, everything went accordingly.I have no discomfort whatsoever completely healed. I am very grateful I can get back to my normal activities without hesitation.Very fortunate to live where I do, I ride a beach cruiser routinely 16 to 20 miles, lift moderately about an hour and stretch for a half hour each day.

I met Dr. Wang roughly 6 months ago. I had two hernias one the size of a softball, the other size of a golf ball, neither really bothered me. At 65 I thought I should take care of these before they got any worse or caused me any issues. Dr. Wang was very clear and what to expect. Today I had my three month check up during the surgery. He found two others so there was a total of four hernias he was able to repair with mesh. I'm completely healed no discomfort and release to do my normal activities which include a beach cruiser ride daily of about 16 to 20 miles, weight training and stretching daily. Looking forward to playing golf and Pilates.

I was admitted to Hoag Irvine in May 2024. I was under the care of Dr. Peter Wang. After a week of antibiotics, it was decided that I needed to have colon resection surgery. I absolutely love Dr. Wang. He is straight forward, takes his time explaining things to you in a way that you will understand, and he doesn't sugar coat things. I felt very safe, calm and comfortable being in his care. He made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen during surgery, and exactly what was expected of me after surgery. I felt that he was very caring, but also very firm with what I needed to do to heal so that I would not develop clots and die. The level of care that I received from every single person during my two week stay was top notch and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Dr. Wang is a fantastic surgeon and I am so happy to have had him as my attending surgeon. I am a lucky lady! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I am beyond grateful. My follow up appointments have been great as well. Clean office. Friendly staff. East and free parking. And I’ve never been kept waiting long.
