after another Burbank dentist tried to (excuse my french) screw me over by telling me I had 7 cavities I had dr ricci give me a second opinion. and BOY was i ever glad i did. dr ricci quickly told me i did not have 7 cavities, in fact I did not have any!
He did give me 2 crowns on previous root canals and i had my teeth cleaned and off i went. that was 3 years ago and miraculously those 7 cavities that never got filled have not bothered me at all.
Thanks dr ricci for saving me from this scam artist calling himself a dentist!
Dr Ricci is a very good dentist I live now in Palm Springs which makes it a challenge but the practice is run smoothly
I've spent over $30,000 there over twenty years
I love Dr. Ricci and his staff! Me and my family have been going to him for years. He has all the latest equipment, is friendly, and a very talented dentist.
I have been seeing Dr. Ricci for many years. He is excellent at caring for his patient. I am a very nervous patient and he takes his time with me. Makes certain, I don't feel any pain and am comfortable.
He will go out of his way to accommodate me. He and his staff are just fantastic. You'll be happy.
Dr. Ricci and his staff are wonderful. One of the best dentists I've ever had, I plan on going to see him as long as I still have teeth in my head. The front desk staff are really great and the assistants are friendly and very thorough with their cleanings. Can't recommend them enough!
What can I say about a dentist who I've been going to for well over 20 years! Not only is Dr, Ricci on top of all the latest technology advances, but he and his whole staff (hey Sharon) are some of the nicest and helpful group of people you will ever have the pleasure to deal with...

Two very big thumbs up!
If you run into him at the ER kindly ask for another dr. A horrible bedside manner and tasteless mannerism. Not only this he knows little to nothing about medicine. I think I'll avoid this deviant MD.

Better late than never? I have been going to Dr. Ricci for over 15 years, and like many others here had a HUGE fear of dentists and dentistry, so when he saw me initially my teeth were not great. They are now! Over many years he has done every kind of dental work on me, and all of it has been stellar. I don't live near the office anymore, but again, like the others on here, drive to Dr. Ricci's from where ever I am.
I always have a pleasant experience here. I don't enjoy going to the dentist at all, and I wouldn't say my experience here isn't without discomfort but I don't think I'll love getting my teeth cleaned anywhere. What I do love is that they take the time to educate you about your mouth and how to best take care of it. When I did have a cavity they showed it to me on screen and made sure I understood what was going on with my mouth. Everyone that works there is also really friendly and I never have to wait!
I have been to see Dr Ricci and his team for cleanings and one filling several times this year after moving to Los Angeles, and have had nothing but a great experience each time. I was very nervous the first time I went but his staff is great at making you feel at ease and comfortable, even for very minor procedures.

Yesterday I had to bring my daughter with me and they rewarded her with TV, toys, and attention. Definitely the sign of a great dentist and great staff. Thank you.

Five stars for their professionalism, quality of work, friendliness and service.
This was my only dentist over a period of years until a terrible experience last year with Dr. Raymond Ricci. I had a filling done where Dr. Ricci hit a nerve that left me with a 4 month numbing recovery. It took a little over 4 months for that area to gradually regain feeling. Not only being a client, but a long term & consistent client I was expecting follow ups, compensation or some type of consulation for the emotional distress it had on me at that time. After contacting Dr. Ricci he told me "these things happen" & to give it a couple months. Well for someone whose job/career is public speaking; having a portion of your jaw left numb with a nonchalant explanation was not only insensitive but unprofessional with a lack of customer care or appreciation.
Before this experience I would say he was a pretty good dentist, so this could've just been a bad day of his. The 3 stars are for my experience up until the HORRIBLE experience last February. I took away only 2 stars because I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt he just had an off day personally & missed his mark in my jaw. Needless to say, I found a better dentist in that area.
Good luck & I hope this post helps you while on your quest.
I'm really pleased to be a patient of Dr Ricci's. I started coming here because the office uses the latest technology in dental care, and the technicians are constantly learning how to perfect their work.
Every single person that works here is incredibly friendly. Their customer service is unlike most businesses I know, as they really make a point of making you feel welcome and comfortable.
Let me just add that I'm a big baby when it comes to having my teeth worked on, but I feel like I'm in very good hands here. I highly recommend this dental office!
I spent many years searching a dentist who I could trust and who is a perfectionist. Dr. Ricci is that dentist. He makes you feel relaxed and is very gentle and precise with his work. I am also a big fan of Sharon, his dental assistant. She is the BEST. This is the only office I have been too that when they fit you for a temporary crown it fits perfectly the first time. They don't have to remove it 20 times and shave it down to fit. They know what they are doing. Sharon is also a perfectionist and I highly recommend both her and Dr. Ricci. The front office girls are awesome too! You will not be disappointed if you decide to give them a try you won't look back!!
I think I promised to write this review a year ago, but forgot to confirm my yelp account via email so it just posted now. I love Dr. Ricci, below is why!

Before going to Dr. Ricci I was somewhat nervous about going to the dentist. I wasn't really interested in shopping for a dentist through trail and error. I ended up having some slight pain and decided to ask around until someone "Highly" recommended Dr. Ricci to me.

He was very comfortable to be around, he didn't have any pushy vibes and I just got an overall good impression personally and from him as a doctor. I had some fillings done and didn't feel any pain or have any scars in my gums.

Not only that, but the staff is awesome! Everyone was so friendly and warm. I actually ended up forgetting my wallet by accident and didn't have enough gas in my car to get home and one of the attendants, Sharon, loaned me $10 and told me just to return in when I came back to get another filling the next week. It's refreshing seeing a business that cares about their customers on a level more than just wanting your business. I HIGHLY recommend this office :).
Dr. Ricci took a chance on a procedure that no one else would which saved my capped bridge and it worked beautifully. I can not thank him enough he is a wonderful dentist. He also did my first root canal which I was really afraid of and it was not bad at all I would prefer not to have to have another however, if I do it will be from Dr. Ricci ! I have to drive two (2) hours for an apt with him since I live in the San Diego area. Thank you Dr. Ricci !!
My family and I have been going to Dr. Ricci for many years. He is an excellent dentist who puts you at ease and provides the best treatment. Thanks also to his staff, who get the job done with kindness and expertise.
I had a few bad experiences at some other L.A. area dentist's and asked around at my office for recommendations. I'm one of those folks that doesn't take the best care of their gums and am glad to have found a practice that helps to keep my teeth and gums in good shape. One of my coworkers sang high praises for Dr Ricci so I thought I'd give that practice a try. I have now been a patient for over ten years. They are the best dental practice I've ever experienced. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have kept my pearly whites in great shape! I'll stay with Dr Ricci's practice forever. My highest recommendation.
After many years of going from one dentist to the other I, through a coworker, found Dr. Raymond Ricci. I have been going to him for about 8 years. He is an excellent dentist and personable as is his staff. When you walk in the door everyone greets you with a smile and addresses you by your first name. They immediately put you at ease. Dr. Ricci is up to date on all the latest technology as is those who work for him. They all go on seminars to learn the latest in dentistry. I would highly recommend him to everyone. I have never been disappointed. He's the best as is the rest of those working for him.
When I first went to Dr. Ricci, my mouth hadn't seen a dentist in eleven years. I knew nothing about serious dental hygiene. I was a challenge, to say the least. I am so glad my friend at work recommended him. He is bright, he is personable, and his staff is STELLAR! I have learned how to better care for my teeth and gums and actually look forward to my visits.

You will not find a better dentist or staff. I just love them. Now, how many people can say that about their dentist?
