STAY AWAY if you want to STAY ALIVE! Quist performed an endoscopy in February 2020. Misdiagnosed my disease which led to 5 more months of borderline intolerable pain physically, emotionally and mentally. He was happy to prescribe heavy medication that made my symptoms worse ($5,000/month), but he personally benefited from. After multiple emergency room visits and new doctors in the past week, finally found the root cause. His office staff is by far the worst in terms of professionalism, personality and caring about people on top of him personally being unreachable

This is the first time I have ever written a complaint!After waiting 3 months for a consult with MD Quist the App. maker called while I was driving, to verify app. time and location. When I asked her to please text or email information she sounded confused and said they legally cannot communicate if I am not an established patient. What? Frustrated, I advised I could not recall this information while driving and it is not illegal to send an email. She let it be known there was nothing she could do and advised me that she did not have to tolerate my temperament over this matter and would hang up. I could not believe she said that and remarked are you kidding to which she promptly hung up!As a senior, I have never been subjected to such unprofessionalism in the medical field.  She aggressively talked over me in telling me what I have to do in preparation for the appointment in complete dismissal, annoyance and admonishment over my inquiries. Not just unprofessional, I found her actions extremely caustic and an appalling representation and reflection of your practice.She has been given far too much latitude within her comfort zone of deciphering who is and isnt allowed in gaining access to your practice. Its really a shame, the health care industry hires individuals like this that are incompetent; snotty, robotic, cold and rude!  Unfortunately, I will never have the opportunity in meeting you MD. Quist

Dr Quist is exceptional! His calm & caring demeanor is so reassuring. Also, he really listens to me. Im so blessed to have Dr Quist as my GI. Other Drs refer to him as Excellent! We are working on some serious gut issues. Thank God hes my GI Dr. Im grateful, Barbara Ruotolo ??

In December 2020 I had a colonoscopy and an esophageal endoscopy performed by Dr. Quist, including esophageal dilation to fix my swallowing problem. The doctor and his team were great through the entire process, and my swallowing issue is now fixed. I highly recommend Dr. Quist.

Dr. Quist is so kind and has the best bedside manner. I had a really great first appointment with him and look forward to scheduling my colonoscopy with him.

Not good. This office will not accept an appointment from you if you have Medicare and dont have a secondary insurance. Even offered to give them a cash deposit to cover anything Medicare didnt pick up....they refused and said you are required to have a secondary insurance if you have Medicare. Sorry, but this sounds very suspect. I am assuming everyone on here giving high reviews must either not have Medicare or have two insurances this office can bill. Does that sound right to anyone else?

The Finest Gastroenterolist I was able to finally find after 22 years of swallowing difficulties and pain. He Diagnosed‘Jackhammer Esophagus’ with a treatment plan that worked Thank You Doctor Quist ??

I am so grateful that you made me feel safe throughout the entire preparation, during and after care. You exceeded all of my expectations of this experience that can be very uncomfortable and frightening.

Dr. Quist is the absolute best GI doctor I’ve ever had. He actually listened to me and worked with me to find treatment to fit my life style and needs. I’ve had more progress in treating my chronic condition with Dr. Quist in 4 months than I’ve had in the last 10 years. He’s exceptionally responsive and wasted no time in creating a personalized treatment for me. He has continually checked in to make sure I’m doing well, even making direct calls to me during this ongoing pandemic. He is an amazing doctor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a doctor who genuinely cares and listens to you.
