I agree with Leslie that Dr Bae is uncaring and aloof. My father had to get a catheter placed for the first time ever and instead of figuring out a game plan he said something to the effect of...oh well, people live with these things all the time. Basically told him too bad, so sad. Please find someone else for you or your loved one's sake.
Absolutely do not use this urologist. He refuses to see his patients in person (even those fully vaccinated). Please note, were talking about a petient with kidney failure and reoccurring prostate infections the last two months. All Dr. Bae wants to do is conduct these BS virtual meetings without ever seeing him in person. Give me a break. This is a perfect example of just how pathetic our Healthcare system is these days. What ever happened to personalized one on one care? Oh and don't let me forget about their rude, unprofessional, unhelpful office staff.
bad experience with the receptionist. The office already has 2 strikes against them. I hope the doctor is better.
Horrible. I called before the appointment in 2019 and asked if they were in network for my daughter, they stated yes. We get a huge bill and they had lied to me, I told them we were not paying it, you told me you were in network. It ends up now on my daughter's credit,1972.00 and I called and told them today, then they state they just say yes they take my insurance and don't check for in network or out of network. I said so then you lied to me. She states she doesn't know who I spoke to. Then proceeded to tell me that she called my daughter for an incorrect ID number? Now that I think of it how could it be wrong? They had a copy of my card? I told them you stated nothing when I called and complained about the in network issue. None of it makes sense. Do not trust them!

Dr. Robert Bae is the worst urologist I have ever had. He is not passionate or caring to his patients and while in the hospital with passing kidney stones he denied it the pain due to kidney stones. I saw my new urologist who confirmed I in fact was passing kidney stones. Do not go to Dr. Robert Bae!

14 years ago I was diagnosed with a large tumor on my left kidney. Fortunately it had not metastasized. But it seemed that that was imminent if I didn't do something soon. The mass was too involved to successfully remove and save the kidney. So it was decided that a radial nephectomy (removal of the kidney) should be performed.Dr. Bae was my lead physician for diagnostic and surgical procedures. He went to great lengths to reassure me that this was not only necessary but it was a fairly common surgery.Although I was very agitated by this diagnosis, I felt that was in good hands because of Dr.Bae's counsel and demeanor.Needless to say the operation was successful with no complications. And here I am 14 years later cancer free.I was incredibly lucky to get a diagnosis in time before the cancer had spread. That being said I feel I was also incredibly lucky to get a physician of the skill and character of Robert Bae.And I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank him.

Good Doctor. Nice man. Helpful staff.

Very happy with my treatment. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Have recommended Dr. Bae to my family and friends.
Dr. Bae was competent, but disinterested. His attire was unprofessional: for example, he wore old sandals during my visit, and his toenails were not presentable, to put it gently. He saw me for only 15 minutes, but then his staff billed me for things that another doc told me could not possibly take less than 45 minutes. When I politely (even meekly) asked their billing person to explain the charges, she became confrontational. So I never went back.

Dr Bae is a great surgeon.
He is a good doctor but its hard to get the office on the phone. I was put on hold for several minutes, several times. I finally got through after making a call several times unsuccessful in getting past the hold status. If there was a option on the phone call to leave a message, it would save me some time and headache of having to call several times and holding. I just wanted to leave a message about information the office wanted me to call in about.
Extremely professional and very courteous and took the time to show a personal interest in me. I am very pleased with this doctor.
Dr. Bae treated me for prostate cancer. To say it made me very anxious is an understatement. It was unwarranted. My robotic surgery resulted in zero pain or discomfort after the procedure. I was walking that evening.
