Writing a review for Dr. Melikian is an easy task. He is simply a good Doctor that cares about your issue. You will be aware of this the first time you meet him. Notice, he actually listens. He cares about your thoughts and will tell you the truth about your options. I reached 68, and for the most part in pretty good condition. The back surgery he did on me insures I will carry on. He's just a good Doctor and a nice man. This extends to the entire staff, good is contagious and it runs rampant in their offices. Helpful and Kind. The surgery center was like a 4-star hotel I've had a few surgeries along the way and never seen anything like this, wonderful service. Overall a fine man and an outstanding Doctor.

Dr Melikian performed a C3-4 disc replacement recently. He did an incredible job. The healing process was better than I expected and my severe headaches finally abated after a year of intense pain. He comes highly recommended! An amazing surgeon!

I had the procedure at the end of March in 2022. The procedure was an incredible success for me and I feel like I have my life back. Reading up on the procedure itself can be scary as what they call "minimally invasive" sure ...

I had the procedure at the end of March in 2022. The procedure was an incredible success for me and I feel like I have my life back. Reading up on the procedure itself can be scary as what they call "minimally invasive" sure doesn't sound like it is. But when you realize that they don't really cut anything beyond a 2" incision in the skin, and you go home the next day with just the pain from the incision site, you realize why they call it minimally invasive going through the front side to do the surgery. Living with lower back pain, lower back instability, and pain/tingling/numbness down my leg from my hip to my foot (sciatic pain) for several years was miserable. A +/-4 hour procedure and an overnight stay in the surgery center and I was home and walking the next day. I've been pain free ever since!

You don't really and truly realize how much you are impacted by back pain and sciatic pain and the associated loss of sleep etc until you have it fixed, and then you remember what it was like to have a "normal" back and be able to sleep normally, play basketball with your kids, go backpacking, skiing, etc. and not even have to think about what you can and can't do because of your back. Dr. Melikian is an incredible surgeon, but more than that, he's sort of a new breed of doctor who listens, gives you info and options in ways you can understand, prompts you to ask questions, never rushes you out of the office, has an organized office staff who are extremely efficient in addition to being compassionate. Dr. Melikian came highly recommended from a friend and so I went into this with high expectations. Even with the bar set high to begin with, I honestly could not have imagined a better process from start to finish, or a better experience and outcome with the procedure.

I recently had surgery for a massively herniated disc with Dr. Melikian and his team, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the very first intake call, the entire staff was professional, caring, and world-class.
