Excellent surgeon, extremely knowledgeable and caring

Dr. Steve Beanes is a no nonsense professional with the knowledge, experience and superior work ethic who provides surgery at a much higher level than the typical standard of care.

Dr. Beanes made me feel that everything would be okay for my Double hernia surgery on 07-6-2023 & gave me great after care too. He is wonderful Dr. & I recommend by Brother to see him next too. Dr. Beanes took such excellent care of me from the very beginning & until I saw him on Monday, 07-24-2023 for my follow-up visit.

Dr. Beanes operated on me twice, one of which was to repair a hernia. Both surgeries went extremely well and I had no complications. I was in very little pain after both surgeries. Dr. Beanes is an exceptional surgeon and a very caring doctor. He asked me how I felt after both surgeries. He also spent considerable time with me before and after the surgeries and thoroughly answered all of my questions.

Highly Recommend........I recently had surgery to do a bilateral hernia removal and have been extremely pleased with Dr. Beanes as well as his staff. I've had 3 different appointments at his Newport office, all of which have been very prompt ( I wasn't sitting around in the office waiting for him to see me) and the staff has been super friendly. As for Dr. Beanes, he is a consummate professional. He was articulate and detailed in his explanation of the process but also listened to address any of my concerns. I felt like he wasn't rushed and took the time to make sure that I felt comfortable with everything he was discussing. Hopefully you never have to use him but if you are having a surgery that he performs, I would highly recommend.

I had gallbaldder surgery on 3-24-2023. Dr Beane is a master at taking out gallbladders. I had no pain during or after the surgery. Never took pain meds. Follow up appointment was great he explained everything in detail.

Recent gallbladder removal surgery with Dr. Beanes can only be described , in my perspective , as a positive experience. Dr. Beanes was very personable, explained my procedure in detail and, in addition, patiently addressed all of my concerns. The same consideration was extended to me by his staff before, during and after my surgery.

Dr Beanes did a terrific job operating on my hernia. His staff was terrific and super realistic about my prospects ("you don't need to repair your hernia now, but most people come back!). I have nothing but good things to say about his ability as a surgeon, and I like that he seems to specialize in hernia repair.

Dr. Beanes was recommended to me by my primary physician. After a thorough physical review Dr. Beanes very clearly and concisely told me of my condition and options for treatment. I chose to move forward with the procedure. His team was helpful and courteous throughout the process. Dr. Beanes and his team are professional, courteous and based on my experience very capable. I would definitely recommend him.

I have been extremely pleased and grateful I found Dr. Beanes and staff. From my first phone call to ask for an initial consultation appointment, to my first and subsequent visits and to my interaction with Dr. Beanes, I have received world-class care. I had spoken with another surgeon, who had ruled out laparoscopic surgery in my case (prior abdominal surgeries) and seemed hesitant to operate on my inguinal hernia. Dr. Beanes didn't see the difficulty and successfully performed the laparoscopic a month after my initial visit. Upon waking up from surgery, I felt exceptionally good, only slight tenderness in the affected area and was up walking around most of the day visiting friends and shopping with my wife. I was amazed! I was not the least tired. I have had a very fast recovery. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Beanes! I also appreciate the wonderful people who work at the Newport Plaza Surgical Center and the friendly and efficient staff at Dr. Beanes office. They truly care!
