Please beware. This doctor does not care about his patients. He did not advocate for my father. Doctor let the illness progress without escalation. Instead of coming up with next steps he gave up and abandoned my father's care completely.
Good doctor terrible front desk . I think he feels he is busy he forgot about patient care and customer service . You need 2 month or longer to make an appointment and when they call to confirm they will not accept to send you an email or text for information needed . I had a bad reaction to the RX called twice and no call back . I will never go back there, in my 40 years in health care industry never encounter as bad Front desk . What a shame .
My GP referred me to this doctor, Tried to make an appointment needed two and half month to get to see him, I went there got an RX and referrals for sleep study and Xrays . Took the RX and filled it, I started caughing very bad , called his office twice and no answer , I decided they made me a follow up appointment in two and Half month It was today , and I decided talking to him in Perosn about the reaction from the RX . Three days ago while I am drriving I got a call to confirm my apointment Iasked them to text me or email me the address I forgot , the confirmer said they are not equipped to text or email. I asked if they got my sleep study or my Xrays , she said no? and told me the address I remebred the street addreess and got it on my cell phone did not give me the suite number ( I am 70 years old And iforgot to ask ) , when I got there today the doctor name was not on the directory I called twice the machine said they are at lunch ??? started going from a floor to another till I found it ( 35 minutes ) , I was angry and frustrated and when I told the receptionist what happend she asked me to leave . If I did not like the doctor I will be sending a complaint to the medical Board explainning the negligence and lack of care , I will never go back to him , I have been in health care for over 40 years, I never encountered a worst front desk , he might be busy and having a lot of patients , he does not care anymore about customer service or caring about his patients. what a shame Dr. Ramo
I have been so many doctors to find out what is causing my chronic cough that I lost count over the years. Every doctor has given up on my case, well not Dr. Naqvi. Dr. Naqvi is determined to get answers. He has great bed side manors, and will listen to my concerns and questions.
Didn't know patient was on oxygen. Does not return calls in a timely manner. Employees are borderline incompetent.
Dr. Naqvi is excellent. He has a very pleasant disposition. Dr. Naqvi and his staff did a complete workup. They took the time to get a complete history. He was pleasant and never rushed me. He answer all the questions that I had.
Yesterday I called to Dr.Nagvi office and informed that my daughter had a cold and we had to buy the new inhaler , because the last one is finished. I wanted take an appointment , as usually( my daughter has allergic asthma and she is the patient of Dr .Saed Nagvi already 2 years.)In reception the employer said that the doctor has no time next some days. But I explained that we need in prescription for inhaler , we could come just for 2 minutes just for taking the prescription but we were ready to pay full price of consultation. We always paid by our bank card for consultation. But yesterday from reception the employees said me that we were lying, that my daughter Is not the patient of dr. Nagvi. I tried to explain that they are not correct . They could check again the list of patients of dr. Nagvi. But the office imployeer talked with me very rudely.she spoke rudely and loudly to me, did not give the opportunity to even talk to the doctor and dropped the phone. she didn’t believe me that we always paid by cash by bank card. And she didn’t pay attention that my daughter has asthma and she needed the inhaler . I confused from very bad and rude employers of Dr.Nagvi office in Hoag hospital!! They are working very bad!!!!!!!!
Dr. Syed naqvi is not a doctor you should go through if you would like a smooth progress. Reason one Wendy cannulated he did not have the proper gauze to go over my neck my stoma. Reason to the next visit when he was to check on my stoma he did not have rubber gloves to take off the bandage so I had to do it myself. Reason 3 he referred me to a doctor Wang a surgeon to have my stoma closed. I make the appointment I see Dr Wang and he proceeded to tell me that he does not close stomas. When calling me up this to grease my complaints verbally they hung up on me on my first call. Do not go to Syed naqvi he is a poor example of what Hoag has to offer in regards to a pulmonologist doctor.
Dr. S. Naqvi is a great pulmonologist. His office staff on the other hand needs improvement. I had an overnight sleep study that needed to be repeated and after calling multiple times they have yet to return a phone call or set up a repeat test. It has now been 4 weeks since I should have had a repeat test to see if I need to continue using oxygen at night. I wonder how many other patients have needed follow up treatment and just gave up trying. This makes Dr. Naqvi look bad. Dana Rushing RN

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
