Tenley K. Lawton's Online Review Report Card

I used to love Dr. Lawton for a minor filler until two years ago when out of nowhere she decided to put filler in the bridge of my nose. This completely disfigured me and made an intersection in the bridge of my nose when I went back to fix it she tried to blame it on COVID vaccine. It?s been almost two years and her office refused to meet me to fix it. My last message was with Erin 6-9 months ago. I would ask that she sticks to her area of specialty and not venture out. Sad experience.

I was 17 when i first met Dr. Lawton. I consulted with her for a breast reduction and she was so open minded and her staff was absolutely excellent with helping me understand the process. I got my reduction done in 2019 after I turned 18 and to this day I send everyone that’s interested in a reduction towards Dr. Lawton. I don’t think I could have found a better surgeon. She really listened to what I wanted but also recommend her professional opinion and reached a solid agreement towards end results. I would 100% go back to her for any future events.

I was referred to Dr. Lawton by my OB. Boy, do I wish that referral had never happened? She was supposed to do a scar revision on my c-section, implant exchange, and a scar revision on my back. Immediately post-surgery, I knew she did not fix my c-section scar as she only did a superficial scar revision versus getting into the muscle and tissues underneath that are cut into during a c-section. She also made an unnecessary scar and cut into my breasts around the areola and at the breast fold???? Immediately post-surgery, I was enraged when I saw the additional incision on my breasts and that I still had my old scar tissue on my lower abdomen. I contacted Erin (patient coordinator) and Dr. Lawton, and they ignored my phone calls and emails. Then Dr. Lawton told me she made an additional incision to do a "scar revision" on my breast fold, which is absolute BS! What a waste of $15k. I have no idea what patients wrote all these positive reviews? Neither Erin nor Dr. Lawton replied to my emails.... The most egregious part of it all is Dr. Tenley's lack of honesty and integrity when I confronted her in person at my post-op. She blamed swelling for the poof in my c-section scar...but it is still there all these years later because of how it was sutured. I have flat abs but I have a dent that you can see through leggings or a bathing suit from her "scar revision."The truth is she BARELY met me pre-surgery and took NO notes. Also, my consult was MONTHS before my surgery, and she never did a pre-op visit to go over where she would be cutting. So she screwed up the surgery and made incisions where she should not have. She did a scar revision on my back but only cut into part of the scar??? So like half of the scar was only fixed? Let me be honest it was not fixed at all. Everyone makes mistakes but how you handle things after is an actual test of character. Dr. Lawtons was flat-out lying when she claimed she was doing a scar revision on my breasts by making an additional incision, which made no sense, and she never discussed this with me before surgery.I worked as a patient coordinator at a plastic surgeon's office in college, he was mortified by Dr. Lawton's behavior and surgical technique when I sent him photos. Now years later, after saving up money again, I will finally have her egregious errors fixed. Even all these years later, I get so angry when I think about what a horrific experience dealing with Dr. Lawton was. I can't help but wonder if most of these 5-star reviews are fake. DO NOT GO HERE!

I felt very comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Her bedside manner is impeccable, and her entire staff is very organized, professional and caring. My results were incredible, and I have referred all of my friends, family & colleges to Dr. Lawton.

I'm not someone that usually writes reviews but in this day and age I want to make sure I give credit to this incredible Doctor and her amazing staff. I had 3 consultations with cosmetic surgeons and Dr. Lawton was the 3rd and final. She walked into the room and treated me like an old friend. We set up my surgery but a few days before she broke her leg. This was not a regular broken leg she had to have a trauma surgeon fix it. 10 days later she is in her office on crutches seeing her preop patients. 3 weeks later she completed my surgery still not able to use her leg but did the painful and hard work with her therapist to be able to do surgeries. Dr Lawton is not only one of the strongest women I've met she's a phenomenal surgeon. I'm so happy with the results I could cry. I want to give kudos to Jamie who handles the front office to Erin who handles all back office things and sweet Lauren her nurse. My experience with the Doctor and her staff was bar none. Thank you to Dr Lawton and her awesome staff.

I had my breast reduction surgery a little over a year ago, and I'm incredibly happy with the results! I'm now able to move more easily and love how everything looks proportional now. As with any surgery, there are some residual scars, but they are much less noticeable than I was expecting so I am very happy with the results. I also sincerely appreciate Dr. Lawton and her staff for their kindness and professionalism. I had so many questions leading up to the surgery, and Dr. Lawton, Erin, Alex, and the rest of the staff were amazing and always able to answer any questions that I had promptly. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Lawton!

Not only is Dr. Lawton is an amazing surgeon, she genuinely cares and when you talk to her you can feel her love. She is down to earth, humble, and a perfectionist in everything she does. I can’t say enough about about her and the entire staff. My family is moving away, but I will stay a patient here forever.
