Tom Tooma's Online Review Report Card

I had my LASIK done by Dr. Tooma in 2014. Still seeing 20/20! Highly recommend Dr. Tooma and NVISION.

A little late for a review but I had PRK done around May 2015. Fast forward to 2022 and I'm still seeing 20/20 with no issues. I'd recommend Dr. Tooma to anyone that is considering PRK or LASIK. Without Dr. Tooma and the NVISION team, I would never have become a pilot. I was turned down by the Army due to my poor eyesight, was told by the recruiter I would never be a pilot and should consider a different career path. Well, here I am. I still have perfect vision, no issues, and am flying! Dr. Tooma and the team were great in the whole process from the consultation, explaining what medications were needed, what PRK consisted of, how it was going to be done, and also explained what I needed to do during my recovery. His genuine care and concern for his patients definitely made me feel better through the process. I'd recommend NVISION to anyone. I'm now trying to get into med school and specialize in opthalmology because Dr. Tooma gave me the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I want to be able to give that to someone else!

This is a very late comment. I had lasik done by Dr Tooma about 8 yrs ago. I have been very happy with the result ever since. My eyes are still doing well and no dryness or blurry whatsoever!!. Reflecting of that time when I first going there (office in Fullerton), receptionist and the other doctor who checked my eyes all were professional and thorough!! Dr Tooma performed great on mono vision as my vision of seeing far and near are seamless as I don't feel like I have to adjust my eyes. He was gentle and really experienced as I could feel and see by the results that he has done. I highly recommend seeing him if you need to consider having eye surgery. Dr. Tooma is the best! Not only is he a talented surgeon, he put me at ease the moment he walked in to the surgery suite. It was quick and painless and now my vision is better than I could have imagined! The office is state of the art, and you can truly see the high caliber of every single employee. I am so happy and would recommend this office and Dr. Tooma to everyone!

I had my Contoura surgery yesterday at 1:40 pm. Everything went very well from start to finish. The actual procedure is less than a few minutes. I walked out of the building wearing the protective eyewear and can see clearly without my glasses ever since. I am amazed with being able to see without glasses which I wore all the time. Now they are in a drawer for memories. Dr. Tooma takes his work very seriously. He's soft spoken and kind and doesnt make small talk. He is there to give you back your vision without glasses and he achieved that goal. I am typing this without glasses. I will say I needed the Xanax provided and I do have mild eye discomfort but that is perfectly normal after eye surgery. As a Doctor myself, I am extremely aware of how to choose the right MDs for my care and the care of my family. Dr. Tooma is simply the best!

Spoke calmly throughout the procedure to let me know exactly what he was doing. The procedure was very quick. The results have been great!

It was the most incredible visit to see a doctor. All members of the staff were so professional and attentive. Doctors are extremely experienced and patient. They take a very good care of the patients with out any rush.

Excellent care, staff, and service!! The practice is spotless and super high tech. Everybody is genuinely kind and professional. They make sure all your questions are answered and reassure you about the procedure. Karen P. was my counselor and always made sure she was available for me. Dr. Tooma is undeniably the best! This review is sooooo overdue and I am so glad I remembered to be grateful for my eyes and remembering who gave me this incredible gift! by choosing the best of the best, Dr Tooma! It's a 4 year mark for me this week and I couldn't be happier. I wore glasses and contacts for 20 years and now Im freeee! I wake up and I can see! Thank you!
