Dr. Victor Beretta is a highly experienced and outstanding doctor. He really took great care of me at Hoag, explained what he was going to do, and was humble enough to ask that I call him "Victor." You can see he is battle tested and totally knowledgeable. He gets 5 stars. GREAT DOCTOR!

Dr. Beretta is an outstanding doctor, and took great care of me, and knew exactly what to do. He is also very friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Victor Beretta is an outstanding doctor. He took great care of me at Newport Hogue hospital, and is also very friendly and helpful. You can really see his experience, as he is thoroughly in control of the surgery. He gets 5 stars.

He showed little interest in having to be my anesthesiologist. Awoke in severe pain after surgery and instead of giving me medicine for pain told me it was at least partly psychological. I would never let him give me anesthesia again since he was more interested in getting to the gym than making sure his patient (me) had adequate pain management.

Terrible response from Dr. Beretta after my surgery. Awoke in severe pain, he didn't seem to understand why.I just had surgery, maybe the incision and swelling had something to do with it. He showed no compassion for me as his patient. He kept talking about wanting to go to the gym, what a good anesthesiologist he is (saw no evidence of that) and even how skilled he is in starting IV's. FYI, I was stuck four times for the IV. I strongly suggest you request another anesthesiologist!

Bad attitude when talking with patients. Obviously didn't listen to me when he evaluated me before my surgery. Seemed to have zero interest in my post anesthesia problems. Would never let him do anesthesia on me again.

Refused to give me any pain medication after I woke up. Asked me why I was having pain. I just had surgery! Numerous uncessful attempts to start my IV. I would insist on getting a different anesthesiologist. It's terrible to wake up in severe pain(just had Versed& prophofol not anesthesia for my surgery)
