THE REASON I GOT A DOCTER IS BECAUSE I HAVE UNDERLINE CONDITONS SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO KEEP GONG TO THE HOSPITAL EVERY TIME I GOT DIVERTICULITIS, OR COPD PROBLEMS. EVERY TIME I CALL IM ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINS, THEY NEVER CALL ME BACK AND IVE NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN RICHARD DAY ITS ALWAYS AN ASSIT. FOR 2 WEEKS NOW IVE BEEN SICK WITH THE FLU FIGHTING NOT TO TURN INTO BRONCITIS BUT CANT GET ANY HELP FINALLY AFTER 2ND WEEK AND WAITING FOR 37 MINS ON HOLD THEY CALLED BACK. VERY SCARY NOT TO FEAL LIKE I CANT GET HELP WHEN NEEDED

Getting prescriptions refilled is horrible. I'm a very friendly person and I've never been accused of being hard to get along with, I talk with all the nurses when I come in and say hi to everyone. Dr Day on every one of our visits has been incredibly rude and condescending. Our last visit was so inappropriate I was joking with the nurses who over heard the interaction that I would not be returning as he's pretty rude, they agreed and apologized to me. I recommend going anywhere else. He's very unhelpful and quite difficult to speak to. Also he's straight up rude and usually in a bad mood (the nurses called him a chronically grumpy man). But I guess if you have nowhere else to go he is a doctor, just the bottom of the barrel.

Dr Gray is a very caring and decent man. Getting prescriptions refilled is nightmarish experience. I would change Dr’s but that is apparently hard to do. The front office is condescending bordering on rude.

I've been a patient of Dr. Day for several years and I can't say enough good things about him. He always LISTENS and asks pertinent questions. He ALWAYS reads my chart thoroughly and makes appropriate comments when necessary. He's friendly and encouraging. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a primary care doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Day since 2017. At the Pismo Beach location things seemed very chaotic, you could cut the stress in that office with a butter knife. I had some bad experiences with certain staff, and I'll leave it at that; when this is the case, however, it can be tempting to let the blame fall with the physician(s). When he moved to the new Trilogy location, and I went to my first appointment, that stressful atmosphere was gone. Dr. Day was his typical attentive and helpful self, and I noticed that he was more at ease in the new office. Give this doc a chance, if he seems too serious in the beginning don't be put off because once he observes and gets a read on your situation, he will do everything medically practical to make sure that you are on the right course of treatment.

Dr.Day Saved my life by checking over paper work that no other doctor looked at and brushed off I was diagnosed with liver cancer and am now clear of it thanks to Dr.Day he also always takes his time to talk to me and explain everything 100% until I really understand

Dr. Day came into our lives 3 yrs ago by happenstance. I take care of my 85 year old mother fulltime, who had been misdiagnosed with Alzheimer’s by another dr. Dr. Day right away corrected her medication, and within days I saw major changes. Mom was talkative, perked up and seemed more like her old self. The good news; she didn’t have Alzheimer’s at all! Then on her visit end of 2021, Dr. Day found Mom’s aortic valve was pumping oxygenated blood back into her body at just 25%, even tho her cardiologist had just dismissed her for a year! Dr. Day referred us to a new cardiologist & heart specialist for a life saving procedure called TAVR. Her aortic was functioning at .9, normal is 4.0! She got the new valve within weeks in Jan. 2021 and is fully recovered. I tell everyone I talk to that moms new doctor saved her life. Thank You Dr. Day we love you! Julie & Barbara Klein

I have been a patient of Dr Day’s for several years now. It was hard to find a doctor on the Central Coast when I moved here. I have been SOOOO happy to have found Dr Day. He takes the time to listen and to look over all my reports. He has taken a closer look at my medical care than my Oncologists, who have changed every year. Thank you Dr Day!

I called Dr. Day's office the morning of my appointment to verify the scheduling only to have the office girl say they cancelled my appointment because they called four months earlier to reschedule and I never called back. Now I would have to reschedule for two months later. After reviewing all my phone logs and messages I found that they lied and never called me. My wife surprised me when she told me they did the same to her. We looked back at her phone logs and we received no phone calls from them. My medication was running out and I desperately needed it to breathe. However the girl from Dr. Day's office said that maybe someone else could look at my prescription and to call back in a week if I didn't hear anything. I know they are not going to call as they care very little about patients or healthcare. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this practice at all cost.
