List of Peter N Mattar's Reviews
Very rude and unprofessional staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Mattar for a few years now and have yet to see him. I would like only the Dr. hearing my health concerns but every time I see him he has like 2 or 3 of his students. Additionally he has made negative comments to the physician assistant about me. Unbelievable. I really like my new physician assistant.
Just started with this doctor on face value Dr. Mattar is very personable however his staff the meat and potatos of the operation is not very effective when dealing with medications or the approval process for various procedures that one may need. Their attention to details like calling people back within an acceptable time frame is poor at best. This is a deal breaker for me especially when its dealing with ones health without that we have nothing and if the Doctors staff show signs that they dont care your screwed
I have had Dr. Mattar as my physician for over 1 year and have yet to see him. I see an OD Stevenson and have never felt that there is any concern regarding my health. I feel that they are just prescription writers. I mentioned that I have had a pain in my side for a while and they all but ignored my concerns. I never get an answer about my blood work or x rays I have had. I am very unhappy with the care. The bright spot is that the office staff Liti and Christine are extremely nice. I will change Dr.s as soon as I can find a good physician.
I waited for an hour to be seen. I had made the appointment due to a recent CT scan showing free fluid in my abdomen. I brought the report and the disc containing the scan. Dr. Mattar and the staff would not even bother looking at the images on the disc even though it was noted several times they did not know the location of the free fluid. Dr Mattar didnt even do a physical examination or ask me any questions. Dr. Mattar apparently thought it was nothing to worry about even though the radioligist who interpreted the scan felt it noteworthy. Complete waste of my time copay and billing to my insurance.
Very kind and informative. Helps decrease anxiety when visiting the doctors office.
Great customer service
Came today on a Monday office hours say 8 to 5 PM all of a sudden they want to open at 10 today a message or notice would of been nice drove from Moreno valley and have to sit here for a hour and a half sorry THATS SO WRONG
Ive been seeing Dr. Mattar for a few years now and he is always timely. I never have to sit waiting forever in the room like I have with other doctors. He takes his time to explain things and actively listens to me. Ive enjoyed him and his staff the past few years.
Terrible service front desk is horrible with attitude problems. Doctors dont call you back with your results. I had to call numerous times just to request information on a physical and blood tests. Left messages to the DR nurse manager and front desk. They dont give a damn about you. I finally got my results 3 months after with a letter and figure it out yourself if it is the norm. Im Searching for another primary care for 5 of my family members. Dont go there you will regret it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
