List of Truong D. Duong's Reviews
I'm not surprised to see a 3.3 stsr review for this practice. While the Dr is nice and knows his business very well the overall experience of his practice was very disappointing. I was recently advised that the Dr has decided to terminate me as a patient. You may think that I'm bitter and this this is the reason why I'm posting a review but that is not the case. The De basically put me on a medication for life. He gave me a couple of 6 month prescription which I filled every time but after 6 months he would have me go to his office sit and wait in the wiring room for about an hour to see me take an EKG and ask em how I was doing for about 2-3 minutes and that was it. At first I didn't mind but then I moved and it would take me about 1.5 hours to drive to his office to wait again for hi to see me for 3 minutes. Why? So he can bill my insurance for an EKG and a silly $40 office visit. I would have paid the $40 visit for an online appointment if it saved me 4 hours of my day fir a 3 minute visit.the staff is less than qualified to answer any of my questions and they even refused to resend the termination letter I requested. I will have to look into this and see what the legalities are about not providing a formal termination letter. Now I need to find a new Dr simply to provide my medication all because of this Dr 's ego and his inefficient staff.
I had a very bad experience with this doctor. He prescribed me with medication to treat afib and I had an adverse reaction to it (constant pulse over 150). I called his office and nobody answers, you have to leave a message. He called back and said to double the dose of the medication, with no other instructions. A few days later, after no improvement, I called again and left a message. He told me to go to the ER. I went to the nearest ER. While in the ER he told me that I went to the wrong ER and that if I wanted to work with him, I would have to go the the ER closer to him! I spent 4 days in the hospital and it cost me thousands of dollars. If he had told me to stop the medication instead of doubling it, that all could have been avoided. He did not consider my reaction to the medication as possible cause of the problem and that is very poor treatment from a specialist. After leaving the hospital, the problem came back. I stopped the medication on my own and it went away in a couple days. I have never gone back to him and he never contacted me to follow up. I saw another EP in the hospital that I am now working with and he is much, much better.
Dr. Truong Duong knows his stuff. He didn't push me to have any procedures and assured me that my heart was functioning as it should. However, he quickly left the room and gave me little or any opportunity to ask questions. Another doctor who has only 10 minutes for you.
My mother is a patient, well she was, for 6 years. Suddenly he sent a certified letter to her that he will no longer be her physician. There was nothing that preceded this event. He is rude, obnoxious, and has had an ego the size of this state. He belittles his patients and makes them feel scared, in an already scary situation. I’m a registered nurse and know this is not common practice in cardiology. He is not the only electrophysiologist and there are better bedside manners locally. I do not recommend him!
When ALL of the other doctors could not figure out why I was dropping, Dr. Duong had the insight and tools to not only figure it out, but to literally save my life. His initial consult left me wondering, but he made quick contact with me and his follow through and diagnosis was exceptional.
Never had a visit can't get back in to see the doctor. This doctors Has installed to the fibulator is in me but because I am seen him awhile I am now considered a new patient and is not accepting any new patients. I waited 3 weeks to hear about this after suffering a heart attack and was told by my cardiologist the follow up with the doctor. All I was given was the run around a bunch of BS the find out that hes not gonna see me good luck doctor what lousy business practices
GREAT DOC. I would highly recommend his services.
I can assure you I would not want my care in another doctors hands. He is kind and very sincere. Spends more time with me then even necessary. I trust his judgement 100%
He is an exceptionally dangerous physician. He is impatient and rude.
I have been seeing Dr Duong for 4 months and the level of service and his expertise with the handling of my AFIB has been exceptional. He has multiple locations which makes for ease of appointments. I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing heart related AFIB issues. Exceptional follow up by office staff Very satisfied customer Greg Heath

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
