I don't even know where to start with this unprofessional business. My daughter was being seen by CFGC due to past trauma with her bio parents. The therapist and psychiatrist that she was seeing were coercing my daughter into making false accusations against my husband and I for abuse. They preyed on her being young, naive, and impressionable by creating a false sense of security. When they reported these false accusations to DCFS (none of which were founded), they offered to secretly put a wire on my daughter to record instances where she was getting into trouble for typical teenage lying and consequences such as no electronics and going to bed early. Fortunately we came out stronger in the end, but we are still reeling from the trauma, and unprofessionalism this business showed us in the end. If you want to keep your family in-tact, look anywhere, but this company.

We were sent here for my son to get therapy because he was abused by his mothers boyfriend.  We had multiple sessions with Georgina who does nothing for children.  My son told her multiple things that happened to him and we had already filed police reports, etc regarding the abuse.  I asked Georgina if I could get a copy of notes she took regarding things my son said so that I could send it to the district attorney for charges to be file.  She claimed she couldn't give me ANY information about my son.  A few months later he does therapy with his mother and AGAIN tells Georgina that his mothers boyfriend abused him.  What does Georgina do??? NOTHING.  Shocking right?  No because these therapist offices are paycheck driven and don't want to get involved with having to write letters or information.  Georgina claimed she couldn't do anything since charges weren't filed.  Soooo how many times does a child have to tell someone he was abused.   Best part, my son continues to cry and have nightmares and based on Georginas recommendation, she felt he no longer needed therapy.  Yup that's why county workers do.  They all stick together just like the clowns at DCFS.  Do not bring your children here and definitely don't use Georgina.

This place is a joke! Not a professional place to go seek mental help!!!The therapist that was assigned to the patient, she was amazing, attended 10 sessions and is no longer working with this company. Okay, might explain why the turn over rates of the employees here are high; they don't get paid enough. (Check Glassdoor)If your looking for mental help this isn't the place to go. The front desk lack experiences and especially professionalism in this medical facility!! You go to the front desk and tell them your there to get medical records and look at you like a deer with headlights and the expression of "???". If you ask for medical record they (the supervisor) will send you a note to tell you the obvious diagnose and don't really pinpoint or give any explanation. And ending statement of "your "therapist name" no longer works here so I'm speaking for her". Very unprofessional! There's so many diagnose of depression etc. and to give you a bs diagnose. Don't send back a letter stating the least obvious...Then why would you go and get help in the first place!  Waste of time you'll never get back!If your paying money out of your pocket. I really, really don't recommend this place.

This is a place to go if you are desperate and and in need of services and can't find another quality clinic.  Staff is not well-trained and the whole place is very bureaucratic.  Unprofessional, in that they discussed my child's diagnosis while he was there in the room, and I had to request that they use more discretion.  Staff I interacted with did not appear to have high-quality mental health training or even basics of addressing mental health issues.  Appear to have a lot of CSUN interns without high-level supervision.  They offer parent training, but it's not individualized or child-specific in any way.  Overall not a great return for your time.

The staff is amazing. My daughter has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. She didn't attend school for months. Different therapists helped my daughter transition successfully back to school. I am forever grateful for Lissa L. and Megan R.

Staff is very friendly. The counselors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I love coming here.

Not very happy with a counselor named Andrea S. I have reported her to her supervisor and not sure if anything will happen but I REFUSE TO LET MY DAUGHTER SEE HER AGAIN! Andrea took some information, told my daughter lies, which she believed because she is young, and twisted it into a horrible lie which caused so much unnecessary pain and destruction to my family and in the end resulted in her lies coming to light. I highly recommend not letting your children be seen by Andrea or she has the capability to do the same to you.
