I am a Registered Nurse with 27 years of experience working in healthcare care and I have encounter lots of doctors. Fortunately I met Dr Ferkel Eric many years ago and only what I have seen from him is an excellence and love to his patients and his profession. Time came and needed to have an extensive surgery on my ankle . The only person I trusted to do my surgery was Dr E. Ferkel and once more he proved how wonderful and skilled he is ,how caring and passionate he is about his patients. Post operative I felt extremely safe because his check on me every morning for a long time and it’s not only on me on every patient he operates . I am so blessed and grateful to have a great doctor like Dr E.Ferkel. I would recommend only him for my family and friends.

i went to dr ferkel after falling on my ankle. he said i had broken my ankle and fractured part of my leg, and was able to get me in surgery the next night at valley presbyterian hospital. whie there, i received incredible care from the nurses as well! i am still in recovery but am in awe of how seriously dr ferkel took my case and was able to help so quickly (and brought me into surgery at 8pm!)

Dr. Ferkel is knowledgeable and is very personable. He walked me through everything he was seeing and what he was going to be doing. He made it so easy and comfortable to ask questions even entertaining my obsurd ones (Do I HAVE to have anesthesia? :) I had never been through surgery before so he was kind, quick, and available to answer all my questions at each step of the process.

I am currently healing from ankle surgery and couldn't be happier with Dr. Ferkel and his staff. They are very thorough with explanations and listen attentively. Since my recovery began, Dr. Ferkel and staff have been very available to me, checking up daily and answering any concerns or questions that I have had in a very timely manner. I feel as though I'm in excellent hands and excited about the rest of my recovery.
