There aren’t enough good things I can say about Dr. Falakassa. The lvl of kindness, compassion & empathy is unmatched. This is my 2nd fusion with Dr. Falakassa & without a doubt I will never go to anyone else for my back issues. I had my 2nd fusion with Dr. Falakassa not too long ago, I came to him in excruciating pain that went from my lower back to the bottoms of my feet-it limited my ability to do anything. He reviewed my newest MRI, presented me with his recommendations & my options, I decided to go with surgery due the failure of months of conservative treatments. Dr. Falakassa & his incredible team took care of everything, as they always do. They had me in the OR & on my way to recovery in no time. The pre-surgical nerve pain was non existent almost immediately after surgery, the care I received before & after the procedure was beyond measure . My recovery is on going, but I wouldn’t have had the outcome I had if it were not for the compassion & expert care of this Dr & his team.

Dr Falakassa was excellent from the start, very good communication throughout. He made it easy to understand, very personal and was really easy to access if I had any pre or post Op questions. His PA, Candice, was great too. She is so polite, professional and helped me through the admin side of things a lot.

Made me feel very confident about my future.

Dr Falakassa has knowledge, skill and empathy. I was familiar with SCOI from having a hip replacement performed there in 2016. I did not known Dr F but chose him based on his SCOI bio. I will now recommend him.

Dr. Falakassa is a class act physician. He is not only brilliant, but kind, humble, and caring. I was limping around for 3 years before I found him through a friend. After surgery I was able to walk normally again free from sciatic pain and severe weakness in my right foot. THANK YOU!!!!

Dr. Falakassa is my neurosurgeon. I am so extremely grateful to him and SCOI for their professionalism. Dr. Falakassa performed an Anterior Discectomy on me. Dr. Falakassa explained to me how he would approach my surgery. he was competent, clear, receptive, he listened to my concerns, and recommended further exams before i went on with the procedure. unfortunately for me in my life i have seen MANY surgeons for different conditions. dr. falakassa is one of the kindest i have met, and though he has not performed surgery on me at this point, i am confident that should i need to go under again, he will do a solid job.
