A great doctor very knowledgeable and takes pride in helping people get better. What else I like about Dr Mendelian is how personable he is and takes time with each patient.

I am 2 weeks post-op for a microdiscectomy and laminotomy performed by Dr. Mendelis. What a successful surgery! This is the second time I have undergone this procedure however, the first time with Dr. Mendelis. What a difference in post operative results. I am virtually pain free. Dr. Mendelis is the most communicative and skillful surgeon/doctor I have had the pleasure of knowing. He is genuinely concerned about his patients, follows up personally after surgery, and very easy to reach out to and express concerns. He spent a significant amount of time with me pre-operatively, during office visits, before my actual surgery, as well as post-operatively. He does not rush and answers all questions thoroughly. A definite recommendation for anyone needing a spine surgeon. His office staff is fabulous as well!

Dr. Mendelis came recommended to me from the urgent care facility and 2 other health care professionals that I know and trust. His staff is very friendly and helpful too! He took the time to really review my medical history before meeting with him so he was knowledgeable and then continued to explain and breakdown the test results and formulate a plan of action together. I was a bit nervous that a surgeon would want you to have surgery vs trying non surgical methods first, but that wasn't the case at all! He really listened and understood my concerns and helped to create a treatment plan that is very manageable and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend him as a doctor or even a second opinion to your current provider.

I had a great experience with Dr. Mendelis. He explained everything in detail and answered any questions that I had before surgery. I was treated very well in the hospital and had great results from the surgery with quick recovery time (I had a herniated disk at L4). Post surgery care was great as well, with a long term plan if any other pain issues come along. I was nervous and anxious about how to choose a surgeon and a hospital, but relaxed after everything was explained. His staff was great also; very competent. I had phone numbers to call if I had issues (which I did not), and felt very taken care of. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendelis for your care.
