List of Roemo Isidro's Reviews
A wonderful Dr seen him for 10 years. Very caring, professional and responds quickly.
Dr. Isidro is one of the most unprofessional doctors I have ever dealt with. He violated HIPAA, has no regard for his patients rights nor privacy. He takes advantage of his patients weaknesses and gaslights them. He is argumentative and overall, cruel and unprofessional. I’m highly concerned about the other patients he treats..not all patients can advocate for themselves and/or have people advocate for them. I plan on filing a complaint with the Medical Board.
I saw Dr. Isidro for years until my insurance changed. He is passionate, empathetic, knowledgeable and kind. I can’t say enough about him. He helped me through grief, depression and anxiety. And anything else that life through at me. I have recommended him to family and friends.
I first meet Dr. Isidro 25 years ago when he was at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. I was a psychologist there. He impressed me with his honesty. That word is rare among most Psychiatrists. Now I am old and need a Physician, I called him. We talk via Doxy.me once every 4 weeks. He hasn't changed. He actually cares about me even as I am 78 years old. I am on conservative meds that help me, not control me. I now sleep at night What a nice guy. Forget all about the front office thing. I wonder why patients get so upset or id with those. I have Medicare and can go to any MD I want. I chose him.
Great doctor! The office staff can sometimes be slow but they are over run with patients. But Dr. Isidro is the best!
Every time I'm drowning, Dr Isidro helps me get back to shore.
He has a very professional demeanor yet does not come across intimidating. He has a soothing sense of humor and psychiatric sessions can be difficult, unless you are enameled by I professional, saying the right thing at the exact Time. Highly, highly recommend him
Many things about Dr. Isidro's office are frustrating. The waits are ALWAYS long, since the doctor is perpetually behind schedule. It can be difficult to communicate with the office as well. However, in spite of these (pain in the butt) things, I've been seeing Dr. Isidro for 15 years now. He saved my life... twice. It takes a LOT of work to find the right meds, and it takes enough time that most people lose their patience and get frustrated. I understand the negative reviews. But here's the thing: Dr. Isidro actually titrates dosages SAFELY. The slow, methodical process of finding the right prescription and dose is actually the BEST way to treat mental illness. Most doctors don't work so cautiously, and it can be disastrous for patients. Doctor Isidro is perpetually late because he takes his time with patients who really need it. For someone with severe mental illness like myself, that time and patience saved my life. Medication changes are pure Hell. It was hell, taking a new dose every month, trying to dial it in. I had to be tenacious, and Dr. Isidro was a pillar. He didn't give up, so I didn't either. Look, he isn't for everyone. Some diseases are easier to treat than others. But for patients with really complex disorders that require subtlety and patience, this is your man. Because believe me, I wouldn't stay in a waiting room so long if he wasn't worth it.
Very difficult to get a response for an appointment.
I go to my sessions in Newhall. Dr Isidro is warm, passionate and caring . I'm very comfortable with him! I never have a problem getting an appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
