Dr. Gail is an amazing Doctor who helped me lose weight after struggling to do so for many years! Her expertise and one on one attention is something you don't find anymore in Doctors! I would absolutely recommend her for weight loss or lap band fills!

For years I have gone up and down 40 to 50 pounds but have never been able to keep the weight I lose off. Last year at my annual physical, I asked my doctor if she could refer me to a doctor that might be able to help me lose weight and keep it off. She referred me to Dr. Gail Altschuler. It took me three months to call but I did finally go in for an initial consultation. When I met Dr. Altschuler, I found an immediate connection with someone who understood my challenges and who seemed genuinely interested in my life problems related to my weight. I made the decision in May 2008 to go on Dr. Gail's program and I am glad I did. Since May, I have lost 50 pounds, 10 inches in my waist and feel better than I have in years. As a manager of 8 people with an extremely busy schedule traveling all over the country, Dr. Altschuler has helped me manage all types of social eating scenarios. Now, I feel I can manage through all kinds of tough eating situations myself and I believe I can do it for the rest of my life! Thank you Gail for showing me the way and I look forward to years of healthy living. By the way, as the nine months on the program progressed, I have felt better and better about my physical self and now I am running 20 miles a week and will be running in my first 10K in years next month.
