List of Julie Stahl's Reviews
I've read the negative posts regarding Dr. Stahl. These people must be seeing a different doctor than the one I've been seeing for the past several years. I've always found Dr. Stahl to be professional, personable and attentive. When I went through one of the worst episodes in my life, Dr. Stahl was in continuing contact with me, adjusting my medications as needed and making sure I got back on my emotional feet and that I was stable before returning me to a regular routine. Dr. Stahl is a major reason I am on a psychological even keel and able to function and live a reasonably normal life. She's a 5 star person and doctor in my book
Arrogant, cold and self serving for sure
Do yourself a favor and avoid seeing this rude, sad excuse for a psychiatrist.
I've had two recent occasions to accompany patients and find Dr. Stahl to have exceptional evaluative skills, knowledge and ability to gain the trust of patients she serves. My hope is that MCC Board understands her value to our community.
Julie Stahl is my primary care physician at Marin Community Clinics. She is far and away the worst physician I've had in my life. She is careless, arrogant, and self-serving. To make matters worse, her discourteousness and lack of professionalism rubs off on her staff. I had nothing but positive experiences with MCC prior to Stahl, however, since her arrival, she has prescribed me the wrong medication, cancelled a 3 month in advance appointment the day off, and refused any sort of communication.

She is a condescending jerk who constantly made personally insulting comments to me when I was discussing changing my medications. She never gave me follow up directions on how to quit my medications even though I left 2 messages at her office when I had an important question on how to properly quit them. See a real psychiatrist, she makes up answers and is unprofessional.
Dr. Stahl forces you to you come back frequently by giving you only 1 refill. More visits, more money in her pocket. She likes to keep your diagnosis as severe as possible. I can't recommend her.
My appointments w/ms stahal have been extremely brief, 30 minutes or less. She seemed caring and wanting to help, I thought I liked her. I missed an appointment I could not afford and she refused to refill my anti-depressants. I am so scattered, I have almost been hit by a car on two occasions in the last week. Apparently she is more interested in restricting usful medications to be refilled only by appointment (more $$$ there eh? So your choice is to be treated by a tease of uncompassionate doctor, find a real one, or just move into the the drug house.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
