List of Marin Community Clinics's Reviews
The hits just keep on coming. Evelyn, self proclaimed head of the referral department phoned. She phoned last week because I called the complaint line. After a lengthy discussion about the issues I continue to have to deal with every month, repeating myself numerous times so the message would actually touch brain matter. Evelyn assured me she would call me back Tuesday. Today is Thursday. The referral department was to re-request an appointment with UCSF then call me TUESDAY after they confirmed that UCSF had actually gotten the request. NOTE- THE INITIAL REFERRAL WAS MADE IN SEPTEMBER. Typical clinic behavior, I have not gotten a phone call. Not to tell me if the referral went through or not. Words are cheap, especially these days, ACTIONS BETRAY INTENT. The clinic staff has not followed up at all.I'M DONE!!I call Legal Aid first thing Monday.I have left a clear record here and elsewhere of the clinics continued incompetence,My new GP "provider" has "Provided" nothing in this regard, he said he would follow up on the status of the referral, well guess what. Here I am listening to crickets, no word from the clinic unless I initiate it and apparently that's not good enough eitherShould I go on a hunger strike?Stop taking my medication?Try and sue them for delay of care?.I can only deduce that "my provider" either 1. Is fine with the delay, no matter how much damage is being done to my body or psyche 2. Isn't engaged at all and is as incompetent as the rest of the staff or 3. Is 100% clueless and although he is a licensed MD, is counting on the concept that medicine is a practice and he remains blissfully ignorant of anything beyond his nose, even though he said he would follow up.WTF is wrong with these people???Now I know why my last PA left.BOTTOM LINEIf you can get care somewhere else, do it. Honestly I wouldn't let this clinic do a necropsy on my dead dog
Here we go again, If incompetence was a race Marin Community Clinics would win hands down daily!! I don't like leaving these shitty reviews but you know what if you're going to treat your patients with such disregard and such ignorance and incompetence than this needs to happen. Dr. Solomon of California Orthopedics and Spine who apparently works with Marin Community Clinics referred me To UCSF to see Dr. Vail.My appointment with Dr. Solomon was on September 24 it is now November 16th. I have made repeated calls to UCSF because the referral department at Marin Community Clinics advised me that they had sent a referral request to see Dr Vail over, every single time I talk to UCSF they tell me they don't know what I am talking about. The incompetence here is just heartbreakingly rampant. Here is a suggestion AFTER YOU SEND THE REFERRAL, MAKE A CALL TO CONFIRM ITS THERE!! The delay of care I am experiencing is only making my situation worse.By Tuesday of next week, if this shot isn't straightened out, I'm reporting this to the State snd I am calling an attorney
It's all perfectly clear..as mud. After leaving two very details messages with the referral department. I get a call today, asking to repeat the issues I am having. Apparently they have trouble understanding the messages I left and demand to be treated like third graders with little understanding of English. They mispronounced my last name (is four letters long and I have been a patient and board member), it's no wonder things are not getting done if they can not get names correct. The clinic is slipping backwards ever since Linda Tavasi stepped down as CEO. I feel so bad for our non English speaking patients. If it's this hard for me as a 20 plus year English speaking patient, I can only imagine how difficult it would be for anyone else. I hope this culture of apathy doesn't last long
As I continue to wait for a referral to an Orthopedic doctor who hopefully isn't an arrogant a-hole. I get s call last wee from the referral department advising me that the request went through and to phone the Orthopedic to get an appointment. I phone, giving an extra four days and just like so many times before, the place I'm getting referred to has nothing, in the mean time my body is failing me because of a reaction to the prosthetic or the cement and NOBODY IS DOING A FUCKING THING!! This is pure fucking torture!! I hope they all get to experience the shit I'm going through
Been a long time patient, as this place has gotten way worse. Takes 45 mins to take to someone who is stressed out with zero compassion, with little to none communication skills. I had severe pain and they gave me meds that nearly destroyed me. Would not return calls. Be very careful trusting these people with your health.
More issues with the clinic, it's such a good thing these people do not work for the fire department or our county would be in ashes!!I specifically ask for an appointment today to get medicine refill, which must happen every month. Yet time passed and no call. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
Ahhhh more torture from a clinic "provider" a new physician and possible passive aggressive bs leading to what is paramount to torture, if Monday does not resolve this crap, I'm calling to get YET ANOTHER NEW DOCTOR AND IM CALLING AN ATTORNEY. Denial snd delay of care is equal to breaking the Hippocratic Oath and constituted medical malpractice. I'm sick of incompetence and these games
Really good services and good nurses love Marin Comunity Clinics my covid vaccine my primary doctor make my appointment
If you can get health care some place else, do it!! My experience with the referral department has been nothing short of dealing with incompetence at best. Their neglect nearly cost me a leg brace (the prosthetic clinic I went to said they actually had to call the Marin community clinics referral department and plead with them to read the fax before just sending it back, which is apparently what a referral department employee(s) had been doing for over a month, delaying my care by two months and causing Partnership to generate a letter advising me that they would no approve the cost of the brace due to time limits). That would be horrible IF that was the only incident. I currently need a referral to a doctors office in San Francisco, due to a serious health matter. That referral went out on the fifth of this month, today is the 23rd, after numerous calls to both MCC and the doctors office I am being referred to, still nothing. I keep having to follow up FOR MCC, and I am quickly tiring of it. This time their delay may very well cost me my health. This is truly unacceptable. Apparently there is no accountability, and I will be contacting an attorney, if the delay of care results in my death or impacts my health further, I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO SEE THEY ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Please, save your health and sanity and go elsewhere. I have written a number of poor reviews which are apparently falling on deaf ears. It is so unfortunate Between their inability to answer their phone to return phone calls in a reasonable or timely manner because it really reflects poorly on the people at the clinic that are actually doing their jobs properly and do care about patients.
This is just a quick note about the Novato campus of Marin Community Clinics. On Friday, I had an appointment to see the dermatologist, Dr. Eric Schten. From the time of my arrival, I found the experience to be phenomenal. All Covid-19 protocols were observed and I was called in to an examining room just after my appointment time by Jamie. We moved through all the onboarding (it was my first visit) with ease along with the help of Isaiah, and Dr. Schten came right along for a full examination. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about his field. He targeted questionable areas with ease and treated them immediately. This facility amazed me with how well appointed it was. Staff were friendly and outgoing. Certainly one of the best medical experiences of my life, and that is saying quite a bit.One downside is parking is rather precious at this location. I parked right on Redwood Blvd. but arrived early in case it would be a hike!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
