We have had a very positive experience with Dr Stoops and oak hills family clinic. All of the staff have been very helpful, considerate, followed up when we have needed it and been very accomidating to our sons special needs as a disabled person. Dr Stoops listens and takes his time . We are thankful to have found oak hills.

Dr. Peter Stoops, Mrs. Stoops, Diana Martinez N.P. and staff are wonderful. Everyone is helpful, accommodating and truly care. The doctors, NP and nurses actually listen, take into account your health concerns, family health history and truly make you feel like you’re a person; not just a number. The office is clean, organized and well managed. I’m thankful for the excellent health care I receive.

For past year I’ve been dealing with a bad PetScan results. Dr Stoops and his staff have been WONDERFUL (even when I’ve been emotional and difficult!). Dr Stoops has gone out of his way to help me get the tests and treatments I have needed. Each visit he spends time to go over EVERYTHING to make sure NOTHING gets overlooked! He has a great bedside manner, he is kind, Caring and has gone above and beyond to help me physically, mentally and emotionally. The staff is great. Especially the blonde woman at the front desk on the right who schedules me and takes my copays and Evelyn (not sure if I spelled it right) the RN who takes care of referrals. - they are wonderful! I’m glad I am a patient with Dr Stoops, he’s been the best primary doctor I have had. Many thanks to Dr Stoops and his staff!

I showed up at 8:15, thinking my appointment was at 8:30 only to find it was at 10:30. The staff was nice enough to fit me in a little after 9. I saw Diana, the NP and she was amazing. She was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns.

The staff here are awesome. They care, they are consistent, they will go above and beyond for you and your family. Staff was concerned about my ill husband and did everything they could to address his medical needs. Even after he passed away, staff is still helping me with paperwork. Staff generally cared for and about my husband. They also took the time to make sure I was doing ok even though I wasn't a patient of their clinic.

Dr Stoops and his staff are very friendly and they take the time to listen to you. I recommend this office

* response to owners comment* If no payment was received from blue cross blue shield that's and issue you should take up with the insurance company (that we spoke with while verifying my copay that is still zero and you never brought that up as an issue) AND also a problem that was also never mentioned during any of the visits. ALSO I have not received any bill for your office and I have never claimed to ever be in financial hardship. So if it is true you have not received payment do not lay blame of your offices inability to deal with insurance providers or inadequacies of your billing department at my feet... Please to anyone who reads this take this in account before using this doctor for your care. *original Review* I have gone here twice for Urgent care and was happy and Dr. Stroop had good reviews so I decided to try him for my primary care unfortunately that is where the good experiences stop….. First time I set up an appointment it was a month and a half or so out asked them if they would call me with a reminder and the said they would…. That never happened Tried a second time and filled out all the paperwork and the assistants told me I have $100 copay. I have had my insurance for 10 years and this has never been the case I do not have a copay. She got the office manager (Dr. Stroop’s wife) she said because my deductible had not been met I need to pay $100 dollars before my visit. After waiting around as she called my insurance to verify my copay (that was 0) she told me I still needed to pay $100 and it was their policy, and would cancel my appointment so I decided to find another doctor……. Waisted over an hour here and took time off work. I do not recommend this place something fishy is going on. Maybe they are hurting for money? They should submit the bill to insurance and then what ever isn’t covered is my responsibility and send me the bill….. not sure what they are trying to do here.

Very attentive and caring. Staff knows me by name when I visit. Am always addressed with respect.
