List of Mark Cook's Reviews
Dr.Cook is one of the most caring, kind, and intelligent doctors I've ever been seen by. He was my family physician for years! Unfortunately, I lost my insurance and had to go elsewhere. I had so many horrible experiences. Now, I have a insurance provider he accepts and I am now able to see him as my PCP and my families! I am so happy! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful family physician!
This is the worst doctor I have ever visited. Always blaming every heath issue on foods because they are not organic. He has accusations of molesting children, and misuse of pharmaceuticals. He did not listen to me not matter what I said and kept looking to my parents to answer. He always touches my arm and hands when he see's me. Creepy and unprofessional.
Just awful. I went to him a few weeks ago because my family changed doctors back to him after a few years. My parents originally left him because she body shamed my Mother. I went to him a few days ago for a medication check up and I felt like he was being VERY unprofessional, when i talked to him he would not listen to me at all and when he asked a question he looked at my Dad instead of me for the answer. He also let my Father be in the room with me while we were discussing personal things when my Father should not have been there at all. Also, at the beginning of my visit he repeatedly asked me if I was okay with him not wearing a mask, when I said it was fine multiple times. He also told me masks do absolutely nothing and are pointless despite the research that has been done.He also believed that ants are causing 99% of global warming and humans only contribute 1% which I found very odd. He also started to discuss politics when it should not be brought up at a doctors apt. period. He kept on interrupting me when I was talking about the side effects of the medicine he was giving me. Instead, he recommended and got me taking lavender and B4's for my depression and mental disorders when that only helps for something that is not a disorder. I told him that I did not want that and I wanted a different medication but alas, he did not listen. As a female it also scares me that in 2021, he had a hearing for sexual exploitation of his 7 year old step daughter along with a few other accusations. I have gotten the heebi-geebies ever since I have been seeing him as a child as well.
Best Doctor I ever had. Calls you personally with test results always. Saved me when I had COVID-19 with getting me started on medication.
Dr. Cook has been my family physician for over 20 years. He's a very kind doctor my Whole family has trust in him.Dr. Cook does promote a healthy eating lifestyle. He has always called us back in a timely manner even when I've had to call him at 3 in the morning. He also save my life, after he Was diligent in finding out what was wrong with me. We love you thank you Dr. Cook. It's always great to know that there are still Doctors Like him.
Dr Cook is a great doctor, He is always attentive to our family's needs and he calls us back no matter what time it is, when we needed him. We trust Doctor Cook and we wouldn't trade him for anyone else..It is great to see Doctors like him still exist. Thank you Dr. Mark Cook.

We've had a fantastic experience with Dr Cook. He recognized our kids issues were likely stemming from gut issues and got a lot of allergy testing done which in turn has absolutely changed our lives. I've recommended his practice to a lot of families.
On the same day my stepdad died we called Dr. Cook to help support my mom. All he did was question my mom about my stepdad's health, "well, did feed him organic chicken." Absolutely unprofessional and all he did was make my mom feel so much worse.
My husband and I have been seeing Mark Cook, M.D. since February 1999. We trust him and he has always treated us well. His staff is also excellent. Always tries to keep us healthy and refers us to specialists as needed. Only wish that he was on the Sutter Health computer system to communicate via electronic/email.Sharon & NeilOakdale

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
