Oak Valley Hospital District's Online Review Report Card

Hospital would not see my son and claimed he was showing Covid Symptoms (which he was not)He goes in for abdominal pain that he has been having a chronic issue that he has been battling and no Doctor wants to take in any new patience.So he goes in and the first thing they claim it's covid. No Tests just It's Covid!Sorry I know there are good Doctors but these Doctors are not that good.Do not take your loved one to this facilities.All they are is a glorified prompt care unit with quacks as medical experts.

My Son and I have been exposed to Covid! We both have symptoms, so I asked around, where to go to a test, so I can be cleared to go back to work. We waited in our truck, and shortly after a not so patient nurse came out to triage us. He basically said that the hospital isn't really the place to get it done (even though there are signs posted saying so. He said he could triage us, but doubt the Doctor would see us. So why even bother having a testing site. He was short with my Son and I, telling us other places to go to, all being closed. I used to love going to Oak Valley, but their patient Care sucks anymore, and this isn't the first time , I was turned away. Last time I went, I had encountered one of worst, rudest nurses ever. I will never go back. I'd rather drive up the hill or into Modesto. Valley Oak has gone way down in morale and until they hire people who enjoy patient care, I won't be going back. What a very unsettling, scary experience.

Worst ER to go to!!! Do NOt come here!! They are rude and insensitive!! The nurse made me feel uncomfortable making me feel like I was waisting him Time with my problems . They need new staff who care for the patient’s health!! Never again I will drive 30 mins to have better care next time!

Today. My little brother went in for alcohol withdrawal and he was not prejudiced against. He felt trust towards the dr. And nurses. Even from the admitting personnel.This is rare in my experience. Most medical staff members are rude, and negative towards alcoholic ill patients thinking that they are seeking drugs. This was not todays experience. Thank you oakdale valley hospital. Oakvalley hospital is a joke where did the doctor's get their credentials they leave patients in chairs outside there building wtf I'd never go there I'll doctor's myself thanks

The staff makes up excuses as to why they did not put my name and number in my moms file and let her know I called. They will not take ownership of their mistakes. Being my mom is in her late 80’s, fell down and brought in by ambulance , I would like to know that she is ok. I heard every excuse under the sun! Understaffed, people are dying, there is no notes in her file that you called in. Please, I do not want to hear any more excuses, the gentleman that took my info was incompetent and there is no excuse for it. No phone in my moms room, so she can’t call me. Not sure that she could remember my number in the first place, that’s why I left my number with the staff. The month before a ambulance driver said he would not take my mom to this hospital. Now I know why.

I understand covid Is happening and hospitals are busy but my god! I had to wait in my car cause I had a little cough..actually wasn't even a cough at that time..I had severe chest pain,shortness of breath and excruciating leg pain where I was diagnosed with a blood clot back in December. So of course I'm thinking another blood clot or PE. Waited over 2 hours in car and didn't get a call from them to triage me..2 hours!!! They didn't know if I was alive or dead at that point. I called and told them how much they sucked and I left..please if u guys need treatment go to memorial hospital In modesto..they actually care about their patients.ive been at memorial when the whole hospital was full and it took maybe an hour for triage..dont get why oak valley is so bad all the times I've went. Will definitely be the last time I go. I had to give them 1 stars or it wouldn't let me post.

The worst hospital I have ever been to. They almost killed my daughter (she was 3 at the time). They treated me like a drug seeker and turned me away when I couldn't even walk. My husband had to carry me out. I went to a real hospital and found out I had 2 neurological issues that were preventing me from walking. I was told that if it had been left alone I would have died. If you have a cut that need basic cleaning and some sutures you might be ok to go here. Otherwise, stay clear and make the drive to modesto. It will likely save your life.
