All the stuff no experience
This medical center is great to me. The wait time is sometimes long. They provide good information about your visit very tentative. For me very convenient location.
Best health care/clinic. Friendly and helpful staff, good doctor's spents lot of time with patients to understand their problem. Best place in downtown Oakland.

Dr. Faith Crumpler is one of the worse doctor's I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Crumpler is rude, arrogant, lazy, and negligent and because of inability to connect with her patients, her arrogance, and impatience she blew off my complaints about my chest pain and chalked it up to heartburn. Had I not stood up for myself and insisted that my pain was not from heart burn or dehydration as she had diagnosed then she wouldn't have given in and allowed me to have test run on my heart because after the results came back she learned that I had irregular heart beats and to make up for her lazy diagnosis she tried to send my to the hospital in a cab so that I could have further test run on me.With that being said, I don't fault the clinic because all of the other employees are very nice, professional and hard working. When I initially became a patient of Life Long Clinic in Down Oakland I was paired up with a wonderful, caring, professional, competent doctor who appeared to enjoy her work and her patients but with all good things she eventually moved on to better employment. Unfortunately, because of her departure I was passed onto Dr. Faith Crumpler and for the past two year scheduling appointments have felt like torture. This woman should be fired not transferred or referred out to another clinic but FIRED before she gets someone KILLED due to her NEGLIGENCE.
One of the worst doctors offices in the bay area. I would never recommend this place to anyone I love or care about. Office staff is incompetent and doesn't seem to care very much about it's patients. It's taken me multiple weeks to fill a prescription with life long. Thankfully it wasn't medication that my life depended on.
I will not give this clinic any more credit than what it deserves. I'd like to rate my experience with Dr. Crumpler. My visit with her was downright terrible! She didn't take the time to address any of my needs at all! She spent time on the patient database instead of talking to me directly about my initial concern. That was twenty minutes gone down the drain.Once she came back from her conversation with a computer, she proceeded to give me the pros and cons of something MAJOR in my life! This involved a sensitive type issue in which she felt she was RIGHT about and she wasn't!Then towards the end of the visit, she saw she was getting on my nerves because nothing she was saying was making sense. She still wasted another ten minutes on her iPhone looking for something irrelevant!Next time Dr. Crumpler, don't treat your patients like imbeciles or like they are uneducated!Crumpler gave me a piece of paper as a form of punishment without doing blood work FIRST to rule things out! That's poor ethical practice!Let patients be their own advocate by letting them make decisions for themselves! Don't try to advocate for the patients especially when it comes to major life choices. For example, when it comes to something major like being advised as to whether or not to have children, Dr. Crumpler acted like it was her business as to how much this and that costs and who's paying for what from prenatal care to (God forbid!) going to give birth! She acted as though she was doing me a favor ( remember she was saying all this bad advice without having done any lab samples, etc) But I personally felt attacked by Crumpler's attitude about MY life! Really, if wanted to hear what she had to say, then I would have went to Planned Parenthood!I decided to update this comment that I wrote. I really don't understand how and why Lifelong Medical Care keeps employing Dr.Crumpler. I did a recent review and even in 2018, this doctor still talks down to all of her patients. Seriously, Lifelong Medical should either train Crumpler to learn how to talk to her patients or they should fire her because her attitude and disposition comes out in her poor practices towards her patients.I am not here to judge a book by it's cover, but if a person is not careful, advice from Crumpler can mess your life up.Still I'm gonna say that next time Crumpler, do your research before you pass judgement! All she had to do was request some blood work and a follow up with another physician. But I guess she didn't feel like doing that! So yes, I want people to know that Crumpler shouldn't practice medicine because she doesn't know how to communicate with people! So if you're looking for a medical diagnosis or quality care, don't go to Lifelong Medical and please don't visit Crumpler.P.S. You can do a Google review and you'll see. ☮️
I have had the worst care from this clinic. From the onset, have had extreme trouble getting correct prescriptions needed. The patient portal for setting up appointments are ridiculous and impossible. Referrals are impossible to get. I have MDS, which means that I need regular blood transfusions. My insurance requires that I get a referral for an Oncologist before I can do the transfusions. My son finally gets ahold of my PCP and she makes an excuse that Referrals Dept is backed up. My condition is terminal with no cure, so I need these transfusions just to maintain energy. The patient services number is a big joke because they say they will pass the info onto your PCP, but then you never get a response. Finally got a referral after a month, and luckily they gave me the wrong phone number, because I was able to set up my own appointment with a great Oncologist who did their job very fast and re-sent the referral to Lifelong to have them re-sign the referral to get a transfusion. All-in-all, Lifelong is a horrible place to go if you are trying to get quality medical care.
I love this place best health care ive had

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
