He was attentive, intelligent , outlined his diagnosis and our game plan moving forward. He made sure that I understood and felt comfortable with my treatment. The procedure he performed for me was flawless. He also has a good sense of humor and bedside manner.

Dr. Eric Johnson has treated my mother, father and now myself over the years. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. He is akin to the Marcus Welby Md of the past. He truly cares about his patients. I have had some heart issues over the past number of years. He or his staff have always been available for an appointment that day. He even contacted me after hours for an issue I had to make sure I was ok. His office is efficient and his bedside manner wonderful.

Dr. Johnson was the on-call doctor for the practice when I called for help in addressing the worsening symptoms I was experiencing. It had already been nerve-wracking to make the call; I felt horrible, was concerned about the symptoms, and was seeking guidance about what to do. I really didn't want to go to the ER if I didn't have to because I knew this would mean that a cardiologist would be called in to respond. I thought that making this phone call would be the best way to see what else I should do.Dr. Johnson clearly was quite annoyed that I had called. I was stunned by the arrogant, rude, condescending dismissive response to my request, in which he told me there was no way he could help me. He either doesn't get or doesn't care that the impact of such harshness on a sick person is quite strong.I've been treated more respectfully and with more kindness by the clerks at Safeway.

Dr. Johnson was concerned that he'd answered all my questions--he asked me twice if he had--In general I found him to be quite friendly and immediately dedicated to me the patient. There was no rushing out as I've experienced with many doctors in the bay area. Because he's a much sought after specialist, I suggest you set up a new patient appt BEFORE you need him. He is an excellent cardiologist, respected by other doctors as well.

Dr. Johnson has been our cardiologist for the past 10 years. During that time he has performed exams, angiograms and open heart surgery on us. I find him very knowledgeable and concerned about our hearts. Sometimes he will call after hours to report critical findings .

I would not recommend this doctor for treatment. Too busy and does not spend any time with you. He was attending doctor at hospital and I was not satisfied with him. He gave me less than 1 minute each time he visited. Patronizing at best.
