List of Forest H. Mealey's Reviews
My 95 year old mother was in septic shock and Dr Mealey was so informative and comforting. Very attentive and great beside manner. I'd give 6 stars if possible.
Dr. Mealey is a caring professional who takes time with each individual. He is an excellent problem solver and thinks 'outside the box'. One of the best doctors I have ever had and I am over 60 years old.
The MOST competent doc I encountered in the ICU at Alta Bates. A knowledgeable straight shooter. My nurse daughter was also very impressed with Dr Mealey.
Forest Mealey, D.O. is both compassionate and resolution oriented. He doesn't give up when presented with puzzling symptoms/ cases. He listens and interacts with his patients to find the best solution. He is a team player and makes his patients part of the "team". There is no reservation in recommending Dr. Mealey.
that says it all
it is weak
This practice is disorganized indifferent and unresponsive to the point of being unacceptable. Staff does not return phone calls. Staff makes promises such as sending reports which they have no ability to fulfill and no interest in fulfilling. Appointments can only be made on very short notice like a week or less. Reports are lost and not tracked. Patients are not notified of missing reports. Reports contain unintelligible sentences reflecting either unintelligible thoughts or indifference to intelligibility. I will be changing practices.

I advise any prospective patient of Dr. Forest Mealey to avoid making an appointment with him.I am a senior citizen and have the good fortune to have a network of outstanding doctors who provide me superior care. But I cannot say the same for Dr. Mealey, literally the worst doctor I had ever met. I had arranged to take a sleep apnea test with him, which indeed he did organise for me . It was a test which required a device to be attached to my body which would monitor my sleep. I had arranged to meet with him for the results, eager to know if I was suffering from this condition. I waited in his office for over an 1 1/2 for him to arrive. His secretary called him to let him know I was waiting for him in his office. He gave some lame excuse for being late. I continued to wait. After two hours had passed, I left. He never showed up. Since then I moved to France, and eager as I am to know the results of the test, I asked my family doctor to contact him.He had no reply to give to her, other than the preliminary data about me===my age, gender, etc. Zero information about the results of the test. Here is a doctor who is irresponsible, who appears to be lax in his work habits, and who shows little concern for the well being of his patients. I would avoid hi

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
