List of Summit Campus Emergency Department's Reviews
Waited over 3 hours for bloodwork only to be told they never put me in the system for it. After another half hour told me they won't take my insurance. God help anyone else dieing in the er right now.
Me gustó el servicio que dieron ahí en summit en hospital tuve que llevar a mi hermana ahí. porque el highland estaba muy lleno. Los doctores muy hamable ni que se diga los security muy hamable.
I came on Sunday around 5:20pm and waited only 20mins got called in. The doctor looked at my issue and was told to get exray. Again waited about 10 mins to get X-ray. Super fast but the downfall is waiting for the Xray results that's took over an hour. Im pleased not staying 3-5hrs. 🙂
My backpack was stolen by security . I made my last call in the E. R . stuck it back into with items that included, I.D. 2 phones credit, cards, cash bag never made it up to my room. later made several attempts to collect my belongs and was treated like they didn't know what I was talking about to I "am in the process of Police report ect Morning discharge nurse mentioned , "Yes we had this problem before."
If you have an emergency don’t come here because you will die before a doctor see you.
I arrived at 5:30 pm to the ER Sutter Oakland. This facility is dirtier than county hospital, the waiting room if small and not enough seats. I sprained my ankle. Treatment three hours later was x-ray, is not broken (told them that). No pain killers not even Ibuprofen, not ice while I wait, no medical boot on my size, I am swimming in the boot the gave me, the nurse or technician did no removed anything or paperwork. Not instructions of care. Just go see a podiatrist.. I miss my Kaiser care. This was horrible treatment and Sutter medical is a terrible system.of care.
During a recent Dr appt for my dad, he was advised to get an ultrasound on his leg for blood clots because his legs swelled up. There’s a quick security check at the entrance - bag search and metal detector. As with many ER trips, we expected a few hours of waiting. Arriving before 3 on a Wednesday, the wait was minimal. Within 5 minutes of registration, we were sent to triage. Ten minutes after that, we were sent for labs and radiation. We were told it’ll take about 45 minutes to an hour for the results to be analyzed and delivered to us, so I thought there was plenty of time for a quick errand to the Walgreens pharmacy a few minutes away. Upon my return within 45 minutes, my parents weren’t where I left them. They were taken into a room for the results. They were able to find an interpreter too. This place is efficient! We were on our way home in 2 hours. Glad we came here instead of Highland. The facility appears to be recently renovated as well. There is a convenient small parking lot across from the emergency department.
I was here a week ago due to a ski injury where I broke some ribs. There was no wait and I was seen almost immediately. Every member of staff was very kind and professional and took great care of me. I was in and out in 5 hours and this included having various tests, including an EKG and CT Scan. Really impressed and thank you all so much!
We went Saturday mid morning to the ER and were very impressed with the service we received. There was barely a wait time and all the staff from the reception to the doctors were efficient and professional. Highly recommend them.
Quiet litterally the worst emergency room you could ever have the disfortune of coming to. You’ll probably die before anyone can see you. They send over people to collect insurance before ever getting you help. Literally hell on Earth. The nurses have no type of bed side manner and the doctors have no sense of urgency. Security are rude and hella unprofessional. We stayed at the ER for 2 hours before we were seen. No type of pain medication offered… NOT EVEN TYLENOL. The lack of urgency is disturbing. If I had the time and patience, I’d sue.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
