I am very thankful how helpful Dr Knapp and team. I walked in with a serious eye issue and him and his team did a great job helping.

Dr. Knapp is a very kind man and the staff are very professional. However, the exam took about an hour and a half and the new contact prescription he wrote was not correct - my vision was worse than it was with my old contact prescription. I do not recommend this doctor.

I have never had an eye exam so complete. The best eye Dr I have ever had and I am 62 years old. He take extra time to explain everything regarding your eyes, treatment, prevention,etc.

Dr. Knapp is incredibly nice and great about explaining everything to you. The staff is very polite and helpful. I've been seeing Dr. Knapp for regular checkups due to an autoimmune disorder in my eye for many years, and I've never had a negative experience. And he doesn't have a noticeable accent, either.

He keeps you coming back by telling you how STRONG your eyes are at 82, and how wonderful you are, or patriotic--walking the point. He prescribes 100 dollar a bottle eye drops and antibiotic eye drops for months at a time, and new eye glass prescriptions, and tests for peripheral vision. The Base eye doctor examined my eyes and said there was nothing wrong with my eyes, except CATARACTS and DRY EYE, so I felt it was time, after 5 years with KNAPP for a change. . I changed doctors. The new eye Doctor also SAID -dry eye and advanced cataracts. One month later THE NEW DOCTOR removed cataracts from both eyes, they were very advanced, and plugged my tear ducts to stop the dry eye. With the cataracts out I do not need glasses, I can read and drive my car without glasses, and I do not need any drops, as new Doctor plugged the eye ducts to eliminate the dry eye. I also do not need every light in the house on to see where I am going, thankfully the cataracts are gone, and the colors are so bright and vivid.

Dr. Knapp has cared for several people in my family, one a mentally disabled adult. He is always thoughtful, caring and very thorough. I have recommended Dr. Kapp to many people.

Good if you have something in your eye, he can remove it. His equipment is old and not up to date. His office staff are students. He talks baby talk, and is friendly. Was patient for years, but my eyes became worst after 5 years of visits. Found another doctor, as my eyes became so bad I could hardly see. Was diagnose by my NEW DOCTOR with severe dry eye and two advanced cataracts, 5 YEARS OVERDUE for removal. Getting dry eyes taken care of by my new doctor and cataracts removed, dry eye headaches and pain are gone.

He collected my insurance for 5 years, with a check up visit every six months, and my eyes became worst each year. Almost blind I consulted another Doctor, his diagnosis was advanced cataracts that should have been removed five years ago, and severely dry eyes that caused immense pain. I am now getting proper care , correct diagnosis, and cataract removal with a real Doctor.

This doctor is a liar and so are all of his staff. They prey on old people and do not know what they are doing. DO NOT GO HERE

This doctor is a sham. His front desk staff have no idea what they’re doing. They blatantly lied to me on several occasions; one when they told me that Dr Knapp accepted my insurance, and another when they told me he has experience with hard contact lenses. When I arrived, I was the only one in the waiting room. Dr Knapp came in and started babbling something to me, didn’t look me in the eye or introduce himself. Is he even a human? The assistant asked me to enter the first test room, and told me to remove my lenses. She gave me soft contact solution. I told her my contacts were hard and she said, “what are those?” She hadn’t ever heard of them! My entire experience was incredibly uncomfortable and NOBODY seemed to know what they were doing. With my contacts out, I sat in Dr Knapp’s chair while he babbled some more (his accent is so thick you can’t understand a word he is saying) He kept handing me printed out coupons for over-the-counter drugs. I told him more than five times that I do not use over-the-counter drugs. I also told him I couldn’t see the printed material he kept handing me. He completely ignored me. IT TOOK ME THIRTY MINUTES FOR HIM TO FINALLY EXPLAIN TO ME THAT I NEEDE TO EAT MORE KALE! This doctor preys on people. I took my prescription to Dr Stemley down the way. After I paid CASH FOR ANOTHER EYE EXAM with Dr Stemley, he reluctantly pulled up the prescription that Dr Knapp issued me. IT WAS WORSE THAN WHAT I SEE WITHOUT GLASSES to make matters worse, I just received a $300 bill from my insurance because “that doctor doesn’t accept my insurance” Do not use this doctor. He is a greedy, money hungry old man who most likely preys on old people. I will be pursuing this to it’s professional outcome. LIVID
