List of Javaid Shad's Reviews
I would give less than 1 Star if I could. You should absolutely avoid being treated at this office.A shockingly unhelpful, unprofessional, and unfriendly woman named Beth assists Dr. Shad, who himself is distant and dispassionate during routine visits, as well as procedure day.So Beth is passive aggressive and condescending and once even delivered a serious liver diagnosis over the phone that had me panicked and crying for days. I got more liver tests done right away and when I called to discuss my amazement at the new, clean results, she said the doctor was busy and then denied our previous conversation ever happened. So I guess she had mistakingly read another patient's charts and was trying to cover it up? I have no idea, because she changed the subject every time I brought it up until I gave up.My chronic disease (Crohn's) is consistent and requires consistent medicine, so they have never shown any interest in improving my situation or exploring alternatives, even though I have expressed displeasure with my current medicine and have tried to discuss nutrition and exercise. And to my dismay, they frequently withhold or cancel refills in order to ensure office visits and bloodwork. Do I need to do those? Yes, understandably. Is that really the way to treat a patient who is out of these type of meds--the ones that keep a person from bleeding? Every visit is unpleasant, so I just want to avoid them if at all possible. The last straw was having my meds cancelled and then being chastised by power-tripping Beth for not coming in for a visit/doing bloodwork during the pandemic even though nothing in my situation had changed...during the pandemic. I guess that excuse wasn't good enough.
Dr. Shad is the kind of physician who offers the care and expertise we look for when needing a doctor. He is kind, patient ,brilliant and caring. He has treated my self and my family in some cases through serious illness. There are no words to express our gratitude for his care.
Great physician! Recent colonoscopy went well, slept through it all. Followed up with phone call. Great staff!@
This is wonderful group of hardworking people. They always know exactly what I'm going through. They are knowledgeable and care so much for every one of their patients. I believe that many miracles happen there on a daily basis.
terrible at returning phone calls, difficult to get a person to talk to, not helpful with information. Dr Shad is good though for colonoscopy
This is one of the worst offices I’ve ever seen. The staff sucks, their service sucks and they take forever to return calls
I have been a patient of Dr. Javid Chad for many years, and so has my son. I will not be treated by any other doctor. I will always return to him! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, caring, easy to talk to, and simply lovable.
I would highly recommend Dr. Shad! He is very knowledgeable as a Gastroenterologist as well as other health conditions. He is a soft spoken doctor who shows great concern of the health of his patients. My father was a patient of his and lived a longer life because of Dr. Shad! As far as scheduling an urgent appointment with him as a new patient, I will have to get back to you on that! I will find out tomorrow because that is exactly what I have to do for my husband!!
Horrible doctor.
Dr. Shad is the consummate professional. His care is data driven and he is highly attentive to all aspects of his care. Additionally, he is a very compassionate physician. Old school doctor with state of the art skills. Highly recommended

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
