MIchelle Gonzales Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Gonzalez has great reviews but unfortunately she apparently is only working part time now. I had to change primaries because I switched medical groups and chose Dr. Gonzalez because of her reviews. However, the woman who answered the phone was completely rude and unprofessional! I explained to her how I switched medical groups etc., and she starts asking me WHY I switched medical groups like there is some thing nefarious about it. So I went thru the whole unimportant story about how one of my specialists moved further south and it was a long drive for me plus traffic on the way back because of their afternoon hours. Her attitude was still rude, and it was a waste of time because there was no way I'd be able to see the doctor in time to get the referrals I needed. If you're not taking new patients then you need to tell the insurance company. Doh. Thanks for wasting both of our time rude receptionist. Wish I could've stayed with the Perlman clinic. They are definitely five stars!!

Didn’t even make it pass the receptionist. She was short and not willing to help. A person can tell she. They’re being forced off the phone.. which I was. O well

This office deserves a "no star" rating. My mother called to see if Dr. Gonzales was accepting new patients. She was asked for her age. When my mother told her, the receptionist said, "Oh no, we're not accepting new patients." What the!?? After reading some other reviews, looks like the receptionist did my mother a favor after all. Mindblowing!

Dr. Michelle Gonzales is a Godsend ! After relocating from Northern California to Oceanside last year, I was grateful when I found Dr. Gonzales as my new PCP. She spent a lot of time getting to know me and was very thorough with referring me to certain specialists for my ongoing medical care. Dr. Gonzales is very knowledgeable and kind and a wonderful Physician. I am so thankful for her and her medical team of associates.

Dr. Michelle and her staff have always been extremely kind, and accommodating. Visiting a doctor always seems like such a chore, but the girls handling the scheduling are kind and patient. The actual visit itself whether it be in person or online has always been very streamlined and friendly. I've had a quick turnaround on any prescription needs and referrals even during these covid times. I highly recommend.

My primary care physician retired a while ago, and I have been looking for a new one for a while, and I am so happy I found Dr. Gonzales. She is a wonderful doctor as she is a very good listener and terrific at putting everything together. Dr. Gonzales spent a lot of time with me going over all my lab results and explaining everything in detail. Additionally, the office staff are very professional and helpful when you call in. If you need a wonderful primary care physician and you live in North county, I highly recommend Dr. Gonzales!

The absolute worst doctor that I have ever seen in my entire life. Cold as ice and mean as ever. She has no compassion and she acts as though she is a superior being. No manners, kindness, or care for her patients. She has a real attitude problem and should not be in medicine.

This is my 2nd appointment with Dr. Gonzales and this is what a Doctor is all about: Professional, friendly and concerned about my issues. Does not over prescribe treatments unless necessary! A preventative maintenance Doctor. The Staff is just as Professional! 5STAR and will refer.
