In 2019, I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I needed a meniscectomy. I got a second opinion with Dr. Derrington and he fixed my Left Knee Large Meniscus tear with his state of the art PRP procedure. 2 years and counting, my Left knee is 100% functional with no symptoms. I recently went back because I don’t trust any other doctors with my orthopedic issues. After a strenuous hike, I started having soreness and stiffness in the back of my right leg, Dr. Derrington gave me a thorough exam and a diagnosis of a hamstring strain. Minimal treatment will be needed, brace and PT only. Derrington Orthopedics is where I go to for all my orthopedic needs. He has always been available to me for any questions or issues regarding general health and well-being!

unable to get ANYONE from this office on the phone. All catagories and voicemail choices said "voicemail full". My procedure was rescheduled twice in the same week! I was given no explanation or workable alternative. Im guessing the doctor had a golf game that popped up unexpectedly! Very unprofessional! We will go elsewhere.

After over two years of struggling with severe tendinitis in both arms, multiple treatments including cortisone shots, and PT, Dr. Steve’s (Derrington) PRP gave me the breakthrough! I actually started healing and after about six months I was back to doing all of my exercises at the gym without pain! The whole process was a great experience. Dr. Steve took the time to explain what was going on, set realistic expectations for healing and followed up to see how I was doing. The staff was professional and efficient. Dr. Derrington has been fantastic in so many ways, I don't know if there is space enough to say what I want to say. As a disclaimer, I'm a paramedic and have worked in health care for nearly 30 years, so I've worked with hundreds of physicians, either observing them or working side-by-side, so based on my experiences, in general our healthcare system, in general, scares me. First, he is personable and listens to you. Second, he actually does a physical assessment!!! Yeah, that shouldn't be a surprise, but I've lost count of physicians, including orthopedists, who either suck at assessing someone or don't bother. It's all cookie cutter approach. Third, he is responsive and follows up, and Fourth, he is skilled and the results show it: Proximal Hamstring: His PRP of my right hamstring made it 90% better within a week. I was stunned because not only had it been a wreck for years, making sitting painful, I had undergone a painful PRP injection at another physician's office without result. I realize treatments don't guarantee results, but for $2000 cash, a follow-up phone call or email would have been nice. Low Back: my legs were still having issues after lower back surgery (fusion, disc replacement), so Dr. Derrington did PRP injections along the areas commonly scarred or affected by surgery. Again, to sound like a broken record, the symptoms of heaviness in my calves, and strange tightness in my right medial quadriceps, all but disappeared. Bottom line, and I said this to Dr. Derrrington, it is a pleasure to have a physician who actually thinks rather than mindlessly following some cookie-cutter method, and even if the treatment did not work, I would still think highly of him. He is what I wish all physicians were like.

I wrote a review I think maybe their old Yelp page. But I'll say this, I did the prp lysate. It was a very intense procedure. And I was very sore and stiff for 3 months after but now I'm seeing a huge difference for the better and also just started physical therapy. Thank you Dr Derrington! If you decide to do a similar procedure and don't live in the area, stay at a hotel or air bnb for 3-7 days because you'll be too sore to travel more than 30 min!

I have gone to Dr. Derrington twice for injuries over the last couple years and highly recommend him. For regenerative medicine in the US I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He helped by lower back injury with the Regenexx PL disc procedure and also my shoulder tear with PRP/amniofix injections. I found a significant benefit both times I went to him with orthopedic injuries and am very grateful not to have to have surgery .
