Dr. Liu reconstructed my nose, after decades of it being mangled, allowing little-to-no air-flow - I used to be a mouth breather. I’d say, hands-down, Dr. Liu is the best Dr I’ve ever seen, for many reasons: intelligent, personable, concise, thorough, knowledgeable, skilled, polite and considerate.. what more could one ask for of their surgeon/ENT? Richard, thank you very much indeed for your brilliant work, and for giving me a new lease on life - I wake up feeling much better, everyday, thanks to you. One of the best experiences in my medical history. Dr Liu is very thorough and patient. Minimally invasive surgery. Healing time only a few days. And every time I went for a follow up, I've never had to wait a minute past my appointment time. I've never breathed better in my adult life.

Dr. Liu is the best doctor I've ever been to! Reminds me of what going to the doctor is supposed to feel like! He was very kind, calming and understanding. He calmy explained everything to me and made sure I understood everything in great detail. He was also very reassuring. When you're dealing with the nose ear and throat things aren't always ideal, and it was very impressive how he was able to still make me feel comfortable. My previous doctor had misdiagnosed the situation and he was able to properly and accurately identify and then 100% solve the issue. I 100% trust his work and would recommend him to anyone. I'm so relieved to know I have an extremely knowledgeable and skilled doctor that has my best interests at heart.

I saw Dr. Liu for a few different reasons - ear pain, dysphagia, sinus issues. While explaining my symptoms, he cut me off multiple times and told me I can only list 3 symptoms because otherwise he will forget and we can go over other symptoms in 4-5 weeks (at follow up). Mid sentence, he started to spray a numbing spray up my nose for an endoscopy but gave me no time for questions and did not even tell me what he was doing. I asked questions after the spray and he seemed very annoyed and was very rude with his answers. He did the endoscopy in less than 5 minutes and diagnosed me with x, y, and z. Instead of trying to find the cause or explain anything to me, he prescribed me antibiotics and steroids. I took the antibiotics and nothing changed. He did not offer any treatment for my ears. I did not take the steroids because he prescribed me an unusually high dose for almost 2 weeks. I wanted answers and to fix the problem, not be drugged up and still not have an answer or a sustainable treatment. I brought the issue to my PCP and she said that the steroid dosage was absolutely absurd. I left the appointment with no trust in him which is very scary as a patient. I have already booked an appointment with a different doctor. If you have other options, DO NOT go see Dr. Liu. He is very rude, arrogant, and not thorough at all. I don't care what his accomplishments are or awards, he did not make me feel comfortable and was a huge waste of my time.

My visit to see Dr. Lui was the worst of all I had with any other doctors. He was very rude and very impatient. He didn't listen to me, and was interrupting me all the time in rude way. I've got impression that he had bad time, and I was an additional problem for him... to listen to, to think, to "fix" my problem... horrible bedside manners. I consider such approach to a patient absolutely nonprofessional. So, I told him that I didn't want to continue. I got up and went away.

Very professional, caring and thorough. He is a doctor I can trust. I recommend him highly.

Three days before surgery that I was waiting for several months I had to cancel it because I had couple additional questions about surgery to clarify and they didn’t let me to stop by to address those questions. During my new appointment Dr. Liu was rude, arrogant and inpatient. I had to ask same question several times to get answer from him. I felt like he didn’t even want to talk to me and he was doing me a favor. Not coming back. I am glad I cancelled it.
