List of Scripps Coastal Medical Center's Reviews
Horrible experience, Scripps Carlsbad is a lot better then this place. Rude service and talks down on you like you don’t know anything. They ignore you and want to talk among there peers then help you.I will be avoiding this place and continue going to the Carlsbad location which has been better.
Just sat down and sitting next to my gf while she’s waiting for her chemo treatment, a nice place and very clean. Also the staff are nice and super friendly. I know this isn’t a place where every dream comes true and a lot of others want to give up. But sometimes you have to have hope for two people. Btw the chicken salad pretzel croissant is fire!! Enjoy the little things everybody and continue to bond & pass it forward. We need it more than ever
I came in urgent care expecting to be there for three hours. Everyone was chill. If you exercise patience and common curtesy, and properly communicate things on your behalf from start to finish, things will work out.
Website down, no phone listed, call and no one answers
I have been coming here for about a year. I am extremely disappointed with how hard it is to get in with my PCP as well as them following up with any paperwork that is needed to be filled out. During the cyber attack I tried to get medicine that I really needed to do being in pain and it took over 5 days to get. My doctor is never there and even though they have doctors that are suppose to be about of the care team they did not assist me. There are 2 different forms I asked to be done months ago and it never happened. Every time I need an acute appointment I can never see my Primary. I use to go to another Scripps Location and they were so much more organized and I could always get in my my doctor or she would overbook to accommodate me. As a former Nurse it’s quite upsetting to see how unorganized this place is as well as just not the same feeling of “Caring for your Patients. “ It’s a beautiful facility but, definitely lacks quality patient care.
I like this new place but the cyber attack is making it difficult for them to interact with callers. I realize that the computers are stalled but even the phones are not answered. I have been calling for three weeks to cancel an appointment. I finally got someone but they did not relay my cancellation and now my Doctor's office still thinks I have an appointment. I don't know how else to contact them if the phones are not answered.
Have been coming here since January for my OB appointments. Love the facility & the staff! The lab is also very quick, and always has me in and out.
I had to visit Scripps Healthcare Express last Wednesday where I had to get labs done. I was told it could take up to 72 hours but someone would call me with my results by Friday or Saturday. Well here I am on Monday and still no results. I’ve tried contacting Scripps Healthcare Express (where I got the run around about the system being down) , I tried calling my primary (where I also got the run around that the systems were down), I tried calling Urgent Care (where there are no working numbers) & I’ve tried calling the lab directly (again no working phone numbers). I understand that scripps has a lot going on and there systems are shut down due to ransomware but if you can’t treat your patients properly then direct them somewhere where they can. I ended up at an urgent care not contracted with my insurance for a kidney infection. Thankfully my insurance was very understanding of the situation. They got me an authorization to be seen at a non contracted urgent care where they were able to treat me and get me the proper care I needed and I’m already feeling better.
Patient’s Testimonial. Brand New Facility, Nice Place and People too! #acknowledge
I like this location - new, clean.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
